Europa Semi Finals

Terrible composure from Arsenal players in the final third.

They're just not good enough at this level of competition.

Arsenal have created hardly anything all game. Just a lot of sideways passing. Poor crossing from wide areas. Nothing from midfield. No shots from deep. They needed to force something but they never risk something.

Up close and personal, Monreal is shit. So many chances falling to him.

Yeah, the worst of it was James doing it in the semi finals of the CL against Real Madrid. I'd fine him for that tbh.
Didn’t want to piss of his parent club I suppose? but yeah, they should have played on. Only the ref should have the right to stop the game if he deems it serious enough. Especially those time wasting twats

How many United fans still want Wenger to win this?
Not me. I don't really hate him, but no sympathy. I still remembered how annoying Wenger was, sticking his nose at other clubs' business. He is no saint. He undid his own legacy so that makes it even harder to feel sorry for him

I’m embarrassed watching them. How lethargic they counter attack. Ramsey given the captains armband and since then has done nothing but give the ball back to Atletico.

I thought we had problems.

Everyone knows they lost the tie at home.

Monreal so useless. How many times he put in those useless crosses.

How can there only be 3 minutes with all subs, plus Costa being down for 3 minutes alone?

I wanted arsenal to win, just to shut these jumping bastard athleti fans

As much as I respect Wenger, the Arsenal fans can go do one, well done Atletico

By far the most predictable tie in whole European competition this season. We all know Atletico are going to nick a goal and defend for their life.

Great ending for Wenger, I mean great really. 2 seasons finishing 5th and 6th in a row and leaving the team trophyless and in Europe League, with a shambolic squad.

So he is like Fabinho that can play well in both DM and RB?

He is a CM/DM, who can do everything a bit. He is a more physical version of Saul. He is not a fullback, but can do a job in Simeone's system, because he runs a lot, is fairly disciplined and good at winning the ball in 1v1s.
In most teams, he'd be the "workhorse". He is also very good at carrying the ball forward. I think he could play a similar role, that Dembele plays for Tottenham.
