Europa League 22/23 | Final: Sevilla vs Roma (May 31)

Ugh. European draws certainly do seem to match the same teams up again and again.

Gotta put this lot to the sword in the first leg so they can’t shithouse a second leg win in Spain.

Juventus are behind not only all three Italian CL quarter finalists, but they’re also behind Roma in the league. They’re 7th. Not sure why people are so concerned about this Juve team.

they had a points reduction, table doesnt reflect their level

That's because they had a fecking points deduction. Your argument is entirely invalid.

I do hope Feyenoord or Leverkusen can beat Roma but think it's unlikely, Jose's experience in these stages could be crucial.

Great draw. Sevilla are in a relegation scrap. We are huge favourites and there's not excuse not to win.

We had a decent run. But just as the CL is Real Madrid's competition, the EL is Sevilla's.
Ridiculous , I don't recall real being mid table whilst winning the champions league and I don't see any peak Ronaldo type players in that seville side

We are clearly favourites

15 point deduction tax. They are technically second and probably would still be in the CL with a full strength squad. A Juve -United match is a 50/50 semi with no clear favorite.

They had a 15 point deduction. If that didn't happen they be clear in second place.

They were deducted 15 points remember?

Now what would cheer up my day was the first call up by Martinez not have Ronaldo but I highly doubt that.

First leg at home is a good thing for this tie as we can look to do what we did against Betis in terms of the home advantage. I reckon they will try and play up to the ref to kill the game, but we just gotta be composed. We have the players to hurt them and also to be tight at the back.
Juventus or Sporting away will be different for a semi final. Again, I think we would be favourites, but fatigue and games either side may play a role.

So many people telling ATX that Nice were docked 15 points

Sevilla are shite and we should not be fearing them in any way.

It's just annoying to get a Spanish team again

It is, can't stand the play-acting. Going there three times this season and bringing home two wins and a draw against Barca surely gives the team a boost of confidence.

Out of the teams there, we've got the harder draw but we've had a fair share of luck in the domestic cups and I don't think we should fear any team left in the EL.

We play the Sevilla of 2023 and that's a nice draw.
Potentially, Juventus won't be easy but second leg at home has the feel of a great European night at Old Trafford.

Most likely Roma in the final if we get there, won't be easy but only because of Jose. He'll do everything in his power to beat us. But I'd be confident if we can get there.

As Europa League runs go, this is as hard as it gets. But anyone facing us thinks the same. This is a great chance for a trophy and some exciting games ahead as well.

At season's end UEFA should just declare Real Madrid english champions and force the PL to hand over the trophy, and LaLiga to declare Manchester United spanish champions

Casemiro and Bruno being one game away from suspension will be is something Sevilla players will try and probably succeed to take advantage.

Easy route for Roma to the final.

JoMo to win a 2nd european trophy with Roma in 2 years to cement his place as a roma legend.

Sevilla the Real Madrid of the Europa League

This is what I'm saying!!

Everyone like "sEvIlA aRe 13tH iN lA lIgA!", and, "wRsE tHn bEtIs lOl"

That means nothing to Sevilla! Nothing!!! This is the Europa League. Their plot armor for this competition is as strong as Real in the CL. They could be playing in the Segunda division and still notch a Europa League trophy. Cnuts.

If you put yourself as a Sporting fan then I think you would say you have the hardest draw
