Europa League 22/23 | Final: Sevilla vs Roma (May 31)

Looks a lot like the CL-draw with all the best teams facing each other in the quarters and semis...

You all realise Seville are dreadful this season? They're in a relegation battle.

I don't care about their Europa legacy, we should be beating these cnuts over two legs.

We’re going to have a better record v the top Spanish sides than most Spanish sides bar Barca

Casemiro and Fernandes are getting booked in the first leg.. Sevilla have already started with their acting lessons.

Tbf I actually prefer to play Juventus rather than Roma. I can only imagine the dirty tricks Mourinho would use against us. There's pure hatred between Sporting and Mourinho. I hate the cnut.

Sevilla have a -11 goal difference in the league, they have a ridiculous history in this competition but we really should be steam rolling them.

Slay sevilla, then beat pogba and di maria and then beat Jose. Ultimate demise of LUHG fans.

To win this competition, the probable opposition are barca, Juve, Sevilla then maybe jose Mourinho's roma in the final. Tbh, it is quite exciting.

Juventus are behind not only all three Italian CL quarter finalists, but they’re also behind Roma in the league. They’re 7th. Not sure why people are so concerned about this Juve team.

Erm isn't that because of their points deduction? They'd be much higher in the table I believe.

They are already doing a full report on who to wind up

While I agree with you, remember that Juventus had a points deducted for being cheaters

Not like they’ve been deducted half a century points or anything.

They came 4th last season. Just 3 points off Barca in 2nd.
Is their squad basically the same or did they sell lots of players?

They'll be tricky but we should prevail.

We got the harder half easily imho because apart from Roma, all the teams in the other half I wanted us to play.

But I don't mind because we can take care of the potentially tougher opponents with a game at OT.

I would have liked to avoid a resurgent Juventus though

They are Second if the 15 points are not deducted. So in terms of strength, they are the strongest side still left in the competition.

Drawing another Spanish team isn't ideal (and I'm getting flashbacks of 2018 and 2020 clashes vs Sevilla) but I guess it's better than getting Juve or Roma. Shame we couldn't get other part of the draw with Leverkusen and Union but it is what it is.

That's with 15 points deduction.
