How on earth are arsenal top of the league? Sporting have been all over them. They’re just having a freak season arsenal. Nothing more.

I mean they have a few players not playing today

Our starting XI is a different beast altogether. This is a mish mash of first team and fringe players.

First time I've seen a Ruben Amorim team. Pretty impressive tbf. Sporting have done very well, far better than virtually every premier league team has against Arsenal. And over two legs too.

City, Manutd, Liverpool - quite a few teams have beaten them

Ugarte reminds me a bit of Casemiro. Aggressive and positive in his play.

Wouldn't mind a look at him for Casemiro's understudy and eventual replacement.

Still slightly annoyed that Fulham picked up Palhinha for about 50p.

Yeah true, Saka, Partey, Odegaard and White, that’s your best 3 players starting on the bench and White who is way better and more reliable than Tomiyasu.

Plus Sporting are a good, well coached team.

This Arsenal team's and their manager's whinability is over 9000. fecking unbearable.

Arsenal are having the type of season where even if it goes to penalties, Ramsdale will win them the shootout.
