Europa League 2018/19 | The Noble Wulf Edition

Hmm? I don't think I said anything crazy.

Atmosphere in Germany is great. German fans crap over the British fans, even if their teams don't :D

Nothing.

Only way you could miss out by finishing 4th is if Arsenal got 3rd and we dropped out entirely and won the CL.

(Chelsea would also have to win the EL)

4th is fine, would be five teams in CL.

Only thing that complicates things is if Spurs finish 5th yet win CL so in that situation 4th would miss out if we also have English winner in europa.
Thanks.

Who is the terrible commentator in the Arsenal game? Trying to act cool but he's only making a fool of himself.

You mean PL fans.

In the championship the support is far more vocal

Fair point.

Was just wondering if you knew something I don't and if I've missed something?

Obviously not, but DDG only has a year left on his contract, and there's quite a lot of smoke surrounding a potential Pogba move. I reckon DDG could end up at PSG & Pogba might be the subject of a crazy high bid.

Probably won't lose both, but I'd be more surprised if you kept both.

Phew! Glad you're just guessing. Thought I'd missed something in the press for a second

Does he look better than Sanches did at Benfica? I would say stay another year at Benfica.

Sanches was nothing special. He was this headless chicken box-box midfielder with an average touch, passing and vision. What he mostly did was to bank on his physique in order to get the better of the opponents but was often found wanting against midfield that had lots of intensity to match him and give him no space to operate, thereby making his poor technical skills to look much more pronounced. I could recall tweeting Van Gaal not to sign him then, I don't know if he saw it or not. It's a good thing he's not here today. Thank God we didn't sign him.

On the other hand, Felix has a good touch, intelligence and vision to work out here. Likewise his good finishing but like I said earlier, he's nothing special on the wing. It's like playing Zlatan on the wing and expecting him to deliver, just like Pep failed with his Zlatan project on the wing at Barca.

The whole Benfica side came to defend and play on the break.
