Europa League 2018/19 | The Noble Wulf Edition

They said he was a former Spurs player and I'll just have to take your word for it because Lord knows I don't remember

Sadly he was. One of those we splurged the Bale money on.

He was very much 'meh'. Not terrible but I often wondered what he was actually meant to be good at.

Scored a nice goal against Fulham once I guess.

Watching the Arsenal game, my Lord, on paper it looks like we have a lot to catching up to do on them too, let alone the others! Across the field they have better players than we do.

Don’t know what John Hartson is watching!
He's a former Arsenal player so there's probably some bias. Napoli's finishing has been shite though, they could easily have had a couple of goals

Is it time to swap over to the Frankfurt game? Seems like the only tie that's still alive. 1-0 up, 3-4 on aggregate.

Two english finals would be a huge statement for the PL.

More people will watch the games tonight than watched Liverpool last night! I think even Klopp was watching the Man City v Spurs game on his phone in the dugout.

I didn't watch us, boring as feck. Even the goals. :boring:

If Chelsea or Arsenal win EL what happens with 4th placed team, let's say it's us.

4th and the EL winner would get CL, so 5 english teams next season. Only way it affects 4th is if both CL and EL winners are English, and both winners finish outside top 4 I believe.

Why is João Felix on the wing though? He's nothing special on the wing. Doesn't have the blistering pace nor the agility to operate on the wing. The coach should have gone with the same setup he had in the previous match. Some coaches and their love for tinkering.

4th is fine, would be five teams in CL.

Only thing that complicates things is if Spurs finish 5th yet win CL so in that situation 4th would miss out if we also have English winner in europa.

They're a better team then us under Emery. They'll lose Ramsey though which'll hurt them, but Emery signed well last season and if he has a similar summer with 4 good players they could be a force to be reckoned with.

Does he look better than Sanches did at Benfica? I would say stay another year at Benfica.

4-3 at the bridge  Time to swap again?
