Europa League 2018/19 | The Noble Wulf Edition

So is this Luka Jovic guy the real deal? Also are Marseille really shite?

Marseille came with a second-string and scored 2 own goals. The easiest game Eintracht will have all season.

Luka Jovic can become a world class striker, he has all the tools. Currently leads the Bundesliga‘s goalscoring charts in front of guys like Lewandowski, Reus and Alcacer.

This system is perfect for him because I feel he strives when he can be on the end of counter attacks. Also his strike partner Sebastian Haller is channeling his inner Ibra this season.

Jovic is not a very skillfull player and will never be Aguero, but his technique is pretty good regardless and his finishing technique is outstanding, he won 2 “goal of the month“ awards in Germany this year.

He is on 14 goals already in all comps and will easily hit the 20 goal mark, maybe even 25. Can see him becoming a 30 goals a season striker in the future at a top club which delivers him decent chances.

He didn’t do it last season when 2nd was done and dusted at the end of last season. Think it was the first time in donkey years that nobody made their first team debut in a season
Didn't know it. We had to play our youngsters yesterday, as we face Tottenham and you in just one week.

So Gomes' England teammates are starting games for the first team now (albeit just started) and I have no hope for him to get the same.

Looks like Smith-Rowe is having a good game too. Might watch the second half.
Hudson-Odoi and Smith-Rowe were on the bench against Turkey :wenger:

Loan move in January must happen.

Imagine if Spurs and Liverpool drop into this, one european competition where English teams can actually dominate the later stages at least.

Group G (Villarreal/Rapid Vienna/Rangers/Spartak Moscow) should be good tonight. The clubs are on 7/7/6/5 points respectively, so all teams are still able to qualify for the next round. Gerrard's Rangers are up against Rapid Vienna, so they need a win to get through.

Group I (Genk/Besiktas/Malmo/Sarpsborg) is in a similarly interesting situation, with the clubs at/8/7/6/5 points.

Groups B/C/F/J/K/L all have matches that will determine who will qualify for the next round & who won't.

It's beautifully balanced. We drew 0-0 at home to Spartak which is a game we ought to have won. It might cost us when it comes down to the wire later.

Should be a good night of football. How confident are you going in? I'm guessing the line-ups are out by now, & I've no clue about Rangers :D

Rapid should win this. If they don't, I'm going to wreck some players cars because this match is the reason why I'm too late for a party. Total traffic jam in Vienna around the stadium

Unlucky Stevie. Perhaps he should raid Burnley to shore up his defence, his namesake Ben is pretty good

Some great goals today in games I saw. Like goal of the season contest.

Very suspicious of anyone named Adolf, but the one at Frankfurt won all his games in a group with Lazio and Marseille. Impressive stuff. Not too bad in the Bundesliga either.

We can't stop scoring. 20 goals in 4.5 matches since Keizer took over. 29 goals in 17 matches before that.
