Europa League 2018/19 | The Noble Wulf Edition

Because not a lot of foreign ones come here. Particularly the best. And I am not saying he is, but you are repeating the same soundbytes of the media and our clueless fans who are divided into thinking we should hire Leonardo Jardim or Fonseca when we barely have money to make Mickey Mouse sing.

Ffs its time for the fans to understand what happened in the Summer and stop living on the Moon. And no there is a myth going around as if the League is full of top managers. It isn't. What we have in Portugal is tatical xico espertos who know how to park the bus. They are only a poor version of Mini Mourinhos. This one, not the one from 2002 to 2010.

And lets not derail this topic with Sporting. This is Europa League, no one deserves to read 2 supporters discussing shit managers. ;)
I agree and sadly we know a lot about shit managers :) anyone who thinks we had money for the coaches you said were delusional fans. The truth is the stupidity of some fans put the club in a bad position and I’m not talking about alcochete. Best of luck to whoever takes charge of Sporting.

With that being said as you said this is the wrong topic ! I’ll see you in the Portuguese section

90 minutes of Sporting fans chanting, there is something seriously wrong with the atmosphere at the Emirates. We drew that because we were playing at home.

Its that this days modern football fans in the stadium are more into selfies or popcorn. You look into the Bernabéu or Camp Nou its the same. It looks a Museum.

Camp Nou and Bernabeu are pretty bad but at least there is something happening.

This was just unbelievable.

The atmosphere against Liverpool was fantastic.
Today was just a boring EL group stage game and then it's not a surprise that there is no real atmosphere.
A game like this the most are just sitting there and expect something to happen.

And of course for the travelled Sporting Fans it's something fantastic and that's why you have 90 minutes to celebrate.

At least the Emirates had the pleasure to receive the Musta and his muchachos.

It was the heat of the moment. I apologize.
We are qualified and that's the only thing that matters in the end.

The Emirates atmosphere has always been shit. Our away fans are miles better.

Take the ultras/hardcore fans out of European football and you’d get a similar atmosphere in most places.

Salzburg has 12 points - Glasgow and Leipzig 6 (Leipzig has won the direct duel)...

Now it is interesting, how that Salzburg vs Leipzig match ends...

Dumb of them to play a weaker side given they could've sealed qualification with a win. Now it's going to go the death to secure qualification.

Salzburg are killing it in the group, don't see Leipzeg defeating them away. Celtic have an easier fixture against Rosenburg, so they could go ahead come the last matchday. Leipzeg really need Salzburg to do a solid for them and let Leipzeg beat them or beat Celtic

AC Milan 1-1 Dudelange at half time, would be a massive embarrassment for Milan if they don't win this

Is this actually happening? I had forgotten what playing good football actually looked like

Europa League seems to have a penchant for goals.

Its only been 2 games and against shit teams with all due respect to them BUT...I would be lying if I said I have not been impressed with Keizer. Ball on the ground quick 1 touch passing, pass and move football it looks exciting and promising after only 2 weeks of training and practice. You can tell they are still learning the new style of play he wants them to play but it looks good. Rio Ave will be a good test to see how this new Sporting is tho it is early I will be at the stadium myself so I will be able to see in person how we do.

About the game: Nani is class and are best player. Bas Dost is a pure scorer. Bruno Fernandes getting back to his old self and also Wendel needs to keep playing. Also well done on giving 3 academy players game time especially Thierry tho I wished he put Tiago Djalo that lad is very very promising.

Nani

Did the backflip too, fecking legend

An idea of how Keizer wants us to play with that quick passing sequence and then the CLASS of Nani to beat 4 players and score.

Happy to see Nani discovering his form, always have a soft spot for him.

Don't put Pele in goal. . .

This game is our attackers dream. Giroud filling his boots. Almost feel sorry for PAOK at times though, playing with 10 men since the 7th minute. Probably should really be more than 2. Can't really judge much from the game.

I don't know about that, he was pretty woeful at the world cup. He'd still be better than what we've got..
He didn't score in WC which is bad for striker i admit that, but in all other areas of game he played well.

Yeah, he's a useful body to have in the box. Presents a threat and does an OK job. Probably a consistent 6.5 performer.

Frankfurt with the "Horror-Group" and now they have 15 points in this group.
2x Jovic and two own goals.
