Part of this may be the problem. For all the criticism of Corbyn, it's clear that working class Labour support has elements of Euroscepticism and doubt regarding immigration. If they say, "We're worried about immigration.", then a politician who replies, "No you're not." just isn't going to win them over.

It's because the newspapers that many working class people read are massively anti-immigration and anti-EU. When you read everyday that immigration is to blame for all of your problems it is going to have an impact on how you vote in a referendum that is supposedly offering you the opportunity to lower immigration.

No the point I was making is I doubt a leave or remain vote will have the dramatic effect people here seem to be making out.

I don't think the average person will notice THAT much of a difference either way.

There is a depressing amount of stupid people alive.

I should've gone to bed after the Gilbrater vote, now I'm shitting it too much to be able to sleep.

Nate Cohn keeping me calm for now.

Working class this, working class that - to be honest the people I've spoken with over the last few weeks have been the exact opposite. Most of the working class people I know have voted Remain whereas the middle class and small to medium business owners I speak with have been voting Leave.

That's perhaps partly true...but again, kind of highlights what I mean. Yeah, working class may be getting some false information to an extent, but if you say, "No, you're wrong, you're just getting the wrong info.", then you're not going to make them change what they think, you're just going to further alienate them and drive them to parties like UKIP. We saw that in the 2015 general election with increasing votes for UKIP in several Northern areas. I'm not sure how Labour can address it, either.

I think it will actually make more of a difference than a general election normally does.

Disagree completely, if leave is successful I think we will be feeling it for a very long time.

Can't believe some many people think leave is the right thing for the country, the mind boggles.

Certainly not the rapid expectations of recession that some here think. Market volatility is one thing but the impact on wider economy and then people lives won't be as you say.

Easy to get caught up in the doom mongering.
