ETH dropped the F-Bomb live on Sky Sports - ''f*cking good play football''

To use the f-word on tv? Yes it is. Nobody will even notice. Is it such a bad thing in England? Do English people write letters to Sky and complain?
I think even elders here are using f-ing as a way to say 'really' nowadays

Half time pundits on some random shite supersport 3. Proper pro Liverpool. Gobshites. Never even mentioned Martinez. Having a belter. Varane too. Keep it up lads.
This no-swearing thing is bizarre to a non-Brit.

Good to see his passion though.

We Brits never use swear words in our daily lives. It's considered an insult to the Queen, and is considered to be completely beneath we her loyal subjects.

I hope he does that everytime they try to interview him then just indifferently mutters "sorry"

It’s gone 10pm. An F-Bomb is fine. Little Billy and Tiffany are already in bed. Theyve got to get up early to get to Alton Towers tomorrow.

The Goat!

I’d say purposely done too, he is still installing authority into that team. He knew it was past the 10pm watershed.

Us Brits are a weird bunch. We bitch and moan about everything and we're intolerant cnuts, but then we'll be super polite to people for fear of embarrassment. We all love swearing and watching porn, but we'll giggle at someone accidentally swearing on TV, or when we see a pair of tits on page 3 (is that still a thing?)

 Is this normal in Holland ?
No, we don't say fecking here at all. Nor swear on live TV (though if it happens no one will apologise to the viewers either). I think it's mostly Ten Hag having a very limited vocabulary. He weirdly comes across better in English than he does in Dutch though. He has less time to be awkward, because his mind is busy searching for the correct words.

Apparently. It’s past the time where you can swear on tele though. Typical Sky Sports.

Isn't he quite the crass type ?
There was a video of him doing rounds of his training sessions and he sure seemed to cuss a lot.

Love it Erik, tell them what we'll fecking do.

Any time the word feck is uttered on live TV, a counter is increased in the throne room of Buckingham Palace. If it reaches 100 , a special order of knights protectors is released from the catacombs under.

In the UK, it's worse to use the f bomb than to deprive children of food. It's quite pathetic.

I was listening and I missed it somehow. Probably because of his accent

I don't know actually, he might be. As a people we do cuss a lot maybe. We also have the awfull tendency to use deseases as cuss words. Especially in The Hague :nervous:

"we can fecking good play football" would make Van Gaal proud. The grammar is far more offensive than the f-bomb.

I think shit is used often enough but not sure Dutchies consider it a swear word

My manager

But he genuinely looks psychotic , players might be terrified of him , looks the kind of guy who could knife you at any moment

He does have that Guardiola like unhinged vibe. You have the controlled psychos like Conte or Simeone and then you have the unsettling type.
