Yep. Imagine having to toil under the terror of a 20 yo striker who averages more than a goal a game. Rough times in the Ruhr area indeed.Pretty bold claims.

What? This is objectively false
Reports in the Media say Abramovich is determine to get Haaland ‘at all costs’ which would worry Ole if he was serious about signing him. Mind you, he could have signed him a while back but wouldn’t pay the agents fee.
Martial would absolutely kill it in the Bundesliga. We should be doing the same thing. Putting what ever amount of money Chelsea is putting. We should even offered them Martial so they can have a forward ready to. Martial will do good on their team
If we didn't want to pay the agent fees a year ago when he was available for €20m plus agent fees, we're not going to pay them this summer when it will be €100m+. I just can't see us doing business with Raiola again for a while due to the way he flaps his gums over Pogba.Reports in the Media say Abramovich is determine to get Haaland ‘at all costs’ which would worry Ole if he was serious about signing him. Would love to see Haaland here but I think it's not something our board will submit to in the current environment. You get the sense that our spending is going to be conservative this summer.
Listen to the podcast. Its what the Dortmund coaching and mgmt team think allegedly.
Never will happen. Dortmund isn't about swap deals or paying massive fees and/or wages (Martial). It's about buy young players to developp then sell them for profit or losing them on a free if they want go to Bayern and they don't want it.We should be doing the same thing. Putting what ever amount of money Chelsea is putting. We should even offered them Martial so they can have a forward ready to. Martial will do good on their team
"If they die, they die."I like this, no clichéd bullshit and it's not that he's uncomfortable doing the interview, he just seems to see them as the waste of hot air that they are 95% of the time. He's the Dolph of Striker's.
Pretty sure he could also be considered a start at RB before he moved to Dortmund. He was scoring more than 1 goal per game at RB in both the league and the UCL.It wasn't the agent fee, it was the release clause.
They wanted a guaranteed release clause of 60m or whatever it was, no way would United agree to that.
They wanted Haaland to go to a stepping stone club and play regularly, and you can't say they've done it wrong. He's now a fully fledged star and every time in the world wants him.
I'm sure he would have made a similar impact at United also, but we would never put a clause like that in.
Scoring loads in Austria isn't really that amazing as plenty of others scored well at RBS also - but his CL record was impressive.Pretty sure he could also be considered a start at RB before he moved to Dortmund. He was scoring more than 1 goal per game at RB in both the league and the UCL.
Under Lampard no, under Tuchel I'm concernedWould be shocked to see him go to Chelsea tbh, I think if we wanted it enough we could probably be top of the tree with regards to the PL with only City as real competition.
However I see him going nowhere this summer and come this time next year who knows which club will be where with which manager, titles or trophies won etc, all these things will be taking into account for players such as these.
No mate in fairness I've been banging the CDM drum for a longgggggg time.Am I the only one who thinks that the absolute priorities are CB and CDM/CM?
What's the point in the golden roof if the foundation is fragile...
No mate in fairness I've been banging the CDM drum for a longgggggg time.
That said the emergence of Haaland recently has me wanting to prioritise his signing at the expense of everything else (if need be.) He's a generational talent, in a position we look relatively weak in this season in particular. Look at the vidoes of our missed chances on YouTube and imagine Haaland in our team, this season we would win the league with him imo.
Also there is no alternative to Haaland that would really improve us substantially in that position, there is a shortage of available top level strikers. Which adds a certain extra priority to going all out for Haaland. But I totally agree CB and DM are major issues, the latter more so than a CB imo.
You put a top DM in that midfield and the CB's we have will improve through having added protection, so if we had the capability of improving only one other position after signing Haaland I would choose Haaland and a DM... or worst case Haaland and nobody else.
Yeah I would be very happy with that, over the moon in fact.Haaland and Zakaria and id be happy
So many clubs are going to be vying for his signature this summer, the ones that stand out will be those who are most audacious with their contractual terms.
Personally, I’ve never had such a strong want for a player. He has all the qualities of so many strikers before him coalesced within one player. Literally any price tag would be worth it. The idea of having Haaland, Foden, Ferran, Sterling and Bernardo as attacking options for the next seven eight years is absolutely mouthwatering.
Get it done, Txiki.

Besides that Haaland is just overrated

It's clear though that no matter who he plays for, he's just the type of striker who will be a threat to anybody. With his size, speed and shooting ability the only way you can stop him is starve him of service.
Since when?Virus interview:
On Haaland
"Haaland will be one of the future stars of the next decade because we see that stars such as Ibrahimovic, Ronaldo and Messi are coming to an age where everyone asks themselves: 'How long can we still enjoy them?' So everyone is looking for the new generation.
"Only a maximum of 10 clubs can afford to buy [Haaland] and give the platform you would like after you've been in Dortmund… and four of those clubs are in [England].
"I don't think there's a sports director or trainer in the world who would say 'not interested'. It's like saying: 'Is there a Formula 1 team who would not be interested in having Lewis Hamilton?'
On Pogba
"I just expressed an opinion (talking about Pogba's time being over at United), I didn't want to cause any problem," Raiola said.
"I don't think that it destabilised anybody, because they had a fantastic run and they were even first, for a period, in the league.
"Whenever I tell my opinion, everyone in England goes berserk, and I am the worst agent, or the best agent…and the clubs get so stressed from the public and journalists that I have learned not to talk much about it."
Yep CB definitely. We can score goals. Another season out of Cavani. Improvements hopefully in Rashford and Greenwood. Also Diallo will weight in with some goals and assists.Am I the only one who thinks that the absolute priorities are CB and CDM/CM?

Nailed on for City or Madrid. Other clubs may bid, but hes going to one of those 2.
We nearly had him before he went to Dortmund according to our club journo Matt Law, most of the deal between the 2 clubs and player was sorted. His agent's fee at the time scuppered it. He said most of the media noise was linking him to Utd, but behind the scenes it was actually us who were closest to getting him before Dortmund
i was dubious. Matt Law is usually well connected with us, and it was him claiming it. But as you say, its hard to believe, but not that unrealistic really.I don't believe that for a second
Jan Aage Fjortoft on Twitter (I'm not allowed to link it for some reason):Would be shocked to see him go to Chelsea
I understand that reports on Chelsea being closer on Haaland than other clubs are wrong
