Erling Haaland / signs for Dortmund

sounds like he does and he’s trying to distance himself from it totally apart from saying he’s a good player. I reckon it’s not happening.

I can't put my finger on it yet. Ole's smile and stuff doesn't say its totally negative but i think we've just put our word in and are hoping for the best.

Not that bothered about this signing. A cm and cam is a lot more urgent.

Yeah I feel like a CM and CAM is definitely more urgent but get the distinct impression that Utd don't think that their top targets in these areas are going to be obtainable in January and will more than likely decide to wait until the summer.

Personally I think this is risky because we may not be able to sign our top targets if we are unable to secure champions league football whether that be through the top 4 route or winning europa league.

Ole loves a smile though, doesn't he? If he was on the titanic he'd have been putting a positive spin on the massive ice berg right ahead.

Ole would smile even if the house around him was on fire.

Its meaningless.

However, he has been rather coy with his answers. Not like him as he is usually very straight forward.

Haaland in, Can on loan (:nervous:) and Pogba returning to full fitness should be enough to get top 4 and also challenge for EL.

Well I said to them... I think I’d be going for less of that ‘nearer my God’ style, sad hymns and stuff. We expect some really uplifting choruses. Myself and Mike (wearing the shorts) here, we are so proud of you lads. Great fiddle player, there on the stern. Great. Great. No... look. I’m not worried about the sea pouring in or the position of the ship. No, for us it’s it’s all about playing a few cheerful numbers.

Ole said he has already decided and knows where he is going.

So I think we will know pretty soon after he finishes his holidays.

Either that or Woodward/Judge are yet again making a hash out of negotiations. Unless of course that release clause is accurate. Even then you wouldn't put it past them to feck it up.

I would rather have the original Edward Woodward doing our player negotiations and he died 10 years ago

On the basis of what failed transfer?

Apparently Utd would like to bring in an experienced striker as well to guide the youngsters. Word is Neil Shipperley to come in on a 6 month pay as you play contract. Wily, old experienced striker.

I believe Haaland has watched United matches and is quite confident that Martial couldn't score 8 goals in 6 CL group stage matches for Salzburg like he's done. If he chooses United he surely knows he will be first choice CF by the end of January because he's got a lot more to his game, especially his desire and instinct to find space in the penalty area, than Martial.

His dad needs someone to push him around in a wheelchair ever since Robbie Keane broke both of his legs and ended his career. Why shouldn't it be his son?
Because his son is close to 140 million transfer to the evil masterminds behind it all.
