Rangnick had a style of play and clear idea of how he wanted to play. The players either refused or were unable to play it so Rangnick adapted.
With the same players ETH will get the same problems.
Rangnick was our manager giving press conferences last season. He literally had a different player to rant about every week
I'm glad he doesn't seem to give the press a scrap of information.
What do expect him to do? Shove Maguire under the bus. Tell the press that Ronaldo has went awol and that Martial and Rashford are hopeless?
He keeps things close to the chest and long may it continue. As a fan, I don't want to know why X isn't playing or what mindset player Y is in. I only want to see us winning matches.

I agree and would add that because he was interim and the players knew they would outlast RR this happened. I dont think they will 'down tools' with the same outcome as TH will get them out the club. I have early Fergie vibes with TH.

Been reading some of McTominay’s comments, while I don’t like it because he’s crapping on Ole with the “unlike before” comments (although it’s probably true what he’s saying) he’s also giving himself and the team no excuses.
To be fair to Rangnick, the first few games were pretty good, especially that first half against Palace where there was a clear way of playing. Then things went on a downward spiral into a caustic whirlpool for reasons not very clear. Maybe the Greenwood issue? Maybe Rangnick's inability to control players? Maybe he was demanding too much?
People have constantly criticised De Gea. It was only 18months or so ago he was making countless mistakes.
Someone even said about aronaldo having a weak mentality on this exact thread a day or 2 back.

I never doubted that De Gea has been criticized (and there were spells when he should have been), but mentality was never his issue. He was out of form. De Gea's mentality is not up for questioning.
Whoever is doubting Ronaldo's winning mentality is nuts. Say what you want about him, but he is the most dedicated winner probably in all of Football's history. One measure he is far ahead of Messi, beyond any doubt

Why do you think it's based on race? You are the only person that mentioned race. It's pretty obvious a lot of United fans don't like these fan channels and Goldbridge is the most hated, and he's a white as can be. They called him a fraud, as in he's not a real journalist, which is a fact, and one I would personnally wear as a badge of honor.

Fan channels was okay when Full time devils was doing it. Then Flex came on the scene and people got abit more angry than usual claiming statements like they don’t represent us.

Hes a guy who has actually been in top tier management very recently and has a brilliant record vs a guy who mainly worked upstairs for the past decade.
He seems far more hands on and friendly with the players.
Some of the seemingly toxic elements of the dressing room have gone.
I have little worry that the players are going to have enough power to cause ETH problems and I think that with structure and improvement to the team and the way they play a lot of players will sort themselves out.
To be fair, he didn't say WHICH team the mistakes were by? Could have been a sly dig at Liverpool (who look normal because someone forgot to pack the extra inhalers)?

tbf we were poor considering the lineup we were playing and the one we were playing. he cant have been happy with much of the first half performance, especially defensively but going forward we only created a few chances ourselves and the rest were liverpools disorganisation & mistakes which we took very well

'cause Dutch spelling is messed up. It's "Erik ten Hag" or "Ten Hag".
Same with "Donny van de Beek" or "Van de Beek"
The prefixes aren't capitalized unless it starts the name, (because the given name was left out).
I never noticed it with other Dutch names, thanks
