Barcelona havent brought in a new midfielder lately. Probably them.

Haven’t we got £24m in the bank at last count? Unless you want us to go more into debt?1) it would be paid in instalments
2) United are good for €120M
Not like they’re going to go out of business. But to be “fuming” come on seriously?
A very good player at an absolutely premium. Can't imagine we sign him in January when we're scrapping for a goal scorer and still have AWB as the backup right back. I suspect this is our name being used to ramp up the crazy price for a relatively unproven player (still). Also, if we're addressing midfield, we need a ball carrier.
What is a Ball carrier? Can you give me a player as an example? genuine question

Even if we lowballed this massively, you could generate 50-75% of the fee from those players. £25-30m for Maguire, £20m for AWB, £20m for Donny etc. I'd personally keep Fred, rather sell Scott.A young top quality midfielder, felt like ages since we had one those. No issues if the club takes some financial risk on this one.
We can sell Maguire, AWB, Fred and Donny for decent money in the summer.
Absolutely not worth that for me. 80 million euros tops. I wouldn't even sign him us giving the thing we're lacking in midfield is a player that can also carry the ball.Huge fee but will probably be worth it down the line. I'd be jealous seeing him play for Chelsea.
Is he the CEO of Vanguard or something? How does he have this much money? That's crazy money I'm sorry. Looks a decent player but these transfer fees are beyond ridiculous now. 100m? Nah not for me.
Ortega was a fun player to watch. Seemed really imaginativeCould go the way of pastore/ortega/ who looked a world beater at one stage …
Favourites for both him and Bellingham - they must have secured the takeover then.Liverpool are still favourites at the bookies, not that it means much
you are describing James. Best player in Portugal, second best player in France, star at the WC - moves to Madrid, he's a star in Madrid, he leverages his fame to have sex with MILF pornstars, loses interest in football, attitude stinks, he's forced out, goes to Bayern, chip on his shoulder he's a star again, Munich is cold, loses interest again, ends up at Everton, figures he's peaked and mails it in, he's still banging the pornstars anyways...He should have been a top target before the tournament too though. He was looking excellent for Benfica and attracting a lot of attention, and was hyped before he joined Benfica.
It's not buying a player on the back of a few world cup goals like James, it's deserved hype after dominating performances after excellent form for Benfica and shining on the biggest stage possible.
You'll get to experience it yourself very soon. That sugar daddy life must be nice

Can you give us another example, given that De Jong clearly doesn’t want to move to us, otherwise he’d already be hereDe Jong. Someone who can take the ball from deep and progress our play, not least when we're up against high pressing sides. We don't have one player capable of doing so. Maybe Mejbri will eventually be utilised in that role, but at the moment there is none.
Enzo le Fée is an example of a youngster who is proving to be very press resistant and has good progressive carrying ability. Jude, Kovacevic, Moussa Dembele (spurs), rodrigo de paul, Bernardo Silva woods all be examples of good carriers. Can you give us another example, given that De Jong clearly doesn’t want to move to us, otherwise he’d already be here
We said we would bid “whatever it takes” for Jude Bellingham. We have been told we aren’t going to sign him. Like everyone else we also love Enzo. That's just stupid money.
Feels like Chelsea are all over the place.
