Television Entourage

"The feck did she just say?"

this season is turning out great.

This season's been brilliant so far.

The fact it's not so focussed on Vince and his career helps.

Just finished Season 1. Liked it but never really sincerely got into it until the last two episodes. A lot of the dialogue was amusing but the story was a bit slow and nothing really seemed to be going on.

I still enjoy watching it but it doesn't seem as captivating as people make it out to be. It's probably because I'm still on the first season.

I downloaded True Blood and I'll probably watch that for a bit and afterwards, I'll give Entourage another go.

The 1st season is one of the weakest. 2nd season is better, and the 3rd, 4th, and 5th are all fantastic. 6th is a bit shit but the 7th has been great so far.

Stick with it.

He can be very annoying, they pretty much turned him into the shows main character in the sixth season and it's one of the reasons it was so poor in contrast to other seasons. He's taken a back seat to Drama and Turtle in the 7th season and it's been far better.

Oh, and that was a fantastic episode.

Lloyd and Ari going to Jessica Simpsons house was hilarious "Look at him, he's all cute and fluffy", and Mike Tyson wanted the Brady Bunch remake

That was brilliant.

And Mike's reaction to Ari's "And then you bite his ear off!"

Has anyone else noted that the intro sequence is perhaps the most annoying on television? Ah like I said I do find it strangely entertaining but it's hard to get too worked up over, especially as the characters are such wankers.

Just forward over it. That's what I do with all HBO's shows as their intros last half the shows.

That just occurred to you? Did you never think while watching the intro which you loathe, oh I guess I will just skip this

Yeah it's annoying how long the intros for HBO shows are. The intro for The Pacrific was 3 minutes long, and the end credits were 5 minutes long, madness.

It seems sarcasm doesn't translate too well in black and white! Of course I always skip it but seeing as I don't want to miss the beginning of the show I aalways end up listening to that "Oh YEAH, Oh Yeah, Oh YEAH" and it makes me want to go on a killing spree.

Same

What was the song at the end of the latest episode?

The Pacfic? Are you mad? One of the many great things about The Pacific and even more so the original Band of Brothers is the intro. I watch it almost every time.

As for Entourage, it's the other way around. I always skip it. I do quite like intros, for example in The Wire and Battlestar Galactica, etc. But they have to be good, and with good music. Entourage's isn't, so it's pointless.

Eh? I must have missed the appeal of the Pacific's intro, the only intros I like have great music a la:

Agree completely with this post besides the bit about Battlestar Galactica because I haven't seen it. The Pacific has a brilliant intro and so did the Wire (except during season 4, that was fecking torrid).

I'm only through season 2 of Entourage, only started watching it on the weekend and I've been missing out for sure. I have only watched the intro once and that was in the pilot.

First Kristen Bell showed up as a whore in Deadwood, then this -

And then Sloan was taking it up the ass.

It has been a great day of watching T.V. shows, and here's hoping someone's getting nekkid on True Blood which is up next on my list!

Good episode.

Oh The Pacific has a wonderful intro, but I don't want to watch the thing for 3 minutes every fecking time, it's just too long.

E was probably hoping that it would be someone who would come over and stick it up his ass

Ari's wife > Sloan.

That anal scene was hilarious though. "You're strangling it"

Agreed.

She's unbelievably fit

The part when she took her dress off and you could see her ass was

Argh! Sloan would have also been unbelievably fit in that outfit...I know. I love them both.
