Crouch still defending him and saying it was all down to pressure. I always thought top class players were supposed to be able to handle the pressure.
 
I'll have nightmares about Rooney in midfield for United now. He's not got 1/10th of Scholes' ability for the job.

The odd bad performance is fair enough but Kane and Alli were fecking awful all the way through. Sterling goes without saying. By far the worst 3 overall for England.
 
Dixon, Wright and Crouch laying into England, suppose they've every right considering the trophies they won in an England shirt.

Kind of a stupid remark when a lot of people are unable to be sure of their futures, yet England doing what England do best is such a disaster. This is nothing new, the players can't handle the pressure and it really should surprise anyone anymore.

Rooney was fecking awful. Dier showed why he's not this midfield general everyone thinks he is. Absolute wank with the ball. Alli runs around like a headless chicken At times. Kane was shit. Sturridge was shit. Wilshere was shit. Just absolute shit. Why did he not put on someone like Barkley in midfield to run at the defence Aswell as bringing on Rashford? Just absolute fecking shit all round.

I'm happy for Iceland and the fans it has to be a dream for them to be doing so well when they have been the "underdogs"
 
I feel the same as usual, poor management surely, but people are kidding themselves if they think the manager is the only one to blame for this. If I was English and living near the airport the England team returns to, I'd go out there and go bananas, these players shouldn't get away with such a lack of determination and heart, they can't just hide behind Woy. This was fecking Iceland, they should beat them regardless of the manager, but as usual the manager gets sacked while the players returns to their clubs and start next season as heroes.
