England V India

That's why they always get murdered away from home.

They also fix matches.

feck'em. We've won, no matter what.

Pretty sad when you have to cheat to win home tests. In fact Tests. . .full stop. As they don't do well away. To put it mildy.

Regarding England's lineup, I think Pieterson should come out after Flintoff not before, it makes more sense.

They should both try scoring some runs.

Pieterson is a specialist batsman. It makes sense that he should bat first.

Except Tresco, and Bell.

Other than the first test Tresco hasn't done that well. Bell has improved, but it's not like he could get any worse. Collingwood has also done fairly well.

Their bowling's medium pace with the odd spinner. They'd get battered on non spinning cheating tracks.
If you cant see how good Pathan is your fecking blind or just ignorant. Wev got lots of young talented pacers coming through now. And this stuff about the pitches is getting bloody old. We have the best spinners in the world.. our tracks suit them. We win at home. Pretty simple really.

Irfan is an okay bowler. But he's only a medium pacer. Not the type that would scare me. He's vastly over rated by you. Surprise surprise.

And you don't have the best spinners at all. Murali and Warne aren't Indian are they. Even Giles is better than any of your spinners.

You're deluded, man.

VADODARA, India (AFP) - England's woes on their Indian tour multiplied when vice-captain Marcus Trescothick flew back home to attend to unspecified family problems.

"Marcus has to go back for personal reasons. I think we have to respect the privacy of the matter," coach Duncan Fletcher told reporters here on Saturday.

Fletcher said it was "too early to say" if Trescothick would be back in time for the first Test starting in Nagpur on Wednesday.

It might be the making of a few youngsters - I think Alistair Cook has great potential.
Agreed alistair cooks certainly looks like he has the talent to be an england player, shame about tres and all the illness but thats something you face touring the subcontinent.hopefully we go like for like with tres's replacement and not pick a bits and pieces player.

Funnies post of the year. Irfans at 21 is one of the best bowlers in the world. Theres noone in cricket who swings the ball like him. Pace isnt everything, as was proven when he wrecked Pakistan last time round and Shoaib got battered by us as usual. Mcgrath never had pace.. and dont talk about us overrating him. The english are masters at this.. Flintoff, Peterson etc its a fecking joke. Lets face it when a sport is big in a country and is loved that much, everything becomes slightyl overrated. Engish footballers for example.

And yes we have the best spin attack in the world. Lanka just have murli, Australia just have Warne. We have Harbhajan and Kumble.. watch out for the 17 year old Chawla, big talent, hel take over from these two hopefully.

Seriously why bother posting when you have such rubbish to spout.

He's averaging nearly 30. He's just average. He's like a modern day Mark Ealham.

As for you spinners. They're average as well. I stand by what I say about Giles, he's as good as anything you've got.

Your average. And youv clearly lost it. Hes 21, you expect someone that age to be a little inconsistant, which he was at the start. Its like Sachin who because he started so early, struggled a little, in one dayers in particular. Now people can like idiots hold Rooneys inconsistancy against him, or his lack of goals. But this happens when someone starts out so young.

A month or so back, his record at his age was compared to the likes of Imran Khan, Botham, Kapil Dev and it matched up pretty well. Dont remember wheather it was by age or number of tests, but for it to match up is quite amazing.

You're. You've. He's. Rooney's.

His bowling average is 30. He's just an average medium pacer.

Man you must be bored.
Hes the Rooney of cricket. Full of class, best young player in the world and should be the best for years to come.
And England have never won the world cup..

We're fecked aren't we really?

Cheating Indians injuring all our players before we've even started.

Flintoff = Captain Marvel.

Losing Jones is a massive blow.

We've lost 3 of our better players, and certainly in losing the skipper and the vice skipper we will really struggle when put under pressure.

Will the extra burden also feck Freddy up?

Probably. This is a really silly tour. The players could all do with a break. I say we should call the whole thing off.

This chawla guy looked very good in the under-19 world cup, don't think he would start against England though.
