Right I'm tuned back in after 36 hours in a field.

Hameed might bat himself into a hole here.
 
India have been much sharper in the field so far. Will definitely help to build pressure in the long run.
 
Also im sure its been said but India with Ashwin today would win this with ease.
 
Draw has to be favourite. 10 wickets on a day when the pitch is like this is some task
England chasing the runs will be a task due to the wicket and trying not to lose rather than going for the win.

Reckon if England had stokes they would win this
And if India had Ashwin they would win this

If they only lose another wicket or two you'd have to think they'll go for it later this afternoon.
 
Hameed batting for a while will cement a draw here. He isnt scoring at any rate on this deck.

I don't think we have any interest in the win sadly.

it was the same v NZ earlier this summer. No confidence in this England side.
 
Can we just cut the review time by 5 seconds for Kohli. His waiting for the last second constantly is genuinely grating.

I think they’ll be okay till lunch playing in this way, but they need to be a bit more proactive against the seamers. Root has to be batting for all of the next session to speed things up.
 
Malan is too upright facing spin.

Didn't Malan bump into Jadeda at the start of the run.. cost him the few yards in the end... not jadeda's fault at all.. silly run.. but might have made it if that hadnt happened.

Irrelevant really, should never be attempting a run there.

Especially considering they spent all morning being very conservative

Agreed. His strike rate will be good for the game

Final day is very interesting and will go down to the wire. Ideally you need England needing about 50 with about 2 or 3 wickets left with 10 overs left
 
Need another wicket before lunch to make it India's session . Hameed's drop could prove costly for India.
 
Feels like England are on the edge of chaos. Desperately need lunch.
 
India on top right now, run out has changed the game, England do not look good.
 
This Hameed guy seems like he will go a long way in tests.

But he needs to stop looking assured like Viv and peak Venkatesh Prasad on successive deliveries.
 
If they get Root quickly after lunch then I could see England collapsing to a defeat.
