England v India 2021 Cricket Test Series

It's funny how they drop the only guy who was playing county in ashwin while rest were roaming and having fun.

Hopefully the batting turns up or Kohli has a lot to answer.

This is the worst I’ve seen Sharma bowl for a while.

His conditioning is poor and looks tired.

Kohli losing the captaincy will be good for Indian cricket.

I'd expect a decent effort here from India on this wicket. I reckon they'll just about make us bat again, chasing 20/30 to win type thing.

He should have lost his limited over captaincy much before. It's scary how he has become more powerful than the Indian Cricket. Even Sachin Tendulkar, The Sachin Tendulkar wasn't this powerful.

It is ridiculous when you think about the depth in Indian cricket compared to the 90s and how Kohli’s own batting has gone downhill in both limited overs and red ball cricket.

I cannot believe that was missing the stumps it looked so out live

Two batsmen need to get moving slightly else you feel a wicket is coming

Thought India did well given a lot of the bowling was very good this morning

Great catch by Bairstow, one of those ones that’s a worldie if you catch it but you should have left to root if you don’t

Thought exactly the same. Should have probably left for Root cos it was straightforward for him.

For all the criticism Root gets for his reviews, his team-mates certainly don’t help. Would have had Rohit had one of them actually answered a question.

That missed lbw is going to be so costly . Curran proving again that he should have been dropped, I genuinely don’t understand his role in this team tbh and this bowling attack isn’t strong enough to carry him

That’s really unfortunate. I disagree with Bumble, it looked leg side to me real time and on replays.

Yeah agreed, and given how little was hitting the stumps I’d be annoyed if I was the batsman that’s for sure

He was very unlucky with that dismissal but then again he was plumb earlier and was given not out and England somehow decided not to review it

Suspiciously poor decision from an otherwise very good umpiring performance in this test.

This is a good pitch after the first innings . I am so annoyed that England didn’t bat India out of this game

I rather think, England should have had a bowl last night for 15-20 overs. Indian top order would have had a very hard scrutiny had it happened after a long and demoralizing day.

Mind you, I still think India haven't a chance of getting anything out of this. The only good thing so far is good batting practice for Kohli and Pujara to get some semblance of form. Still no way they are batting through whole of tomorrow. One wicket now and its done.

Did I hear " We all hate Leeds scum" in the crowd??

It was the same tune but I don’t think the words matched. When the Indian fans were jumping around earlier I was really hoping they were singing viva Ronaldo.

Wonder where all those who were here yesterday mocking the idea that India would get 500 in this innings .

Kinda unfortunate no rain in this one for India to escape with a draw like England did in the first test.

So far, the last two tests have been fairly even except one extraordinarily bad day for each team.

I find it intriguing that everytime when there is a slight chance of pujara being dropped, he starts batting.

Its almost like the football version of Adebayor when he is due a contract.

It still blows my mind, after all we’ve seen in cricket over the last few years, that people still talk about things with such certainties.

So it seems "Jarvo" again interrupted the play today. Seems pretty awful that he has managed to evade security and gone to the ground twice now.

England has a massive problem with security at the games . There were pitch invaders at virtually every Hundred game

There’s very little security and it’s one of the nice things about going to a cricket match here, unfortunately won’t last if people keep being twats
