England v Australia - Second Ashes Test - Lord's

The no-ball aside, Strauss could very well have been on his way there but lucily not.

Still fairly assured though.

I'm talking about Hauritz and Siddle. Both completely useless and Clark couldn't be any worse. The Lords pitch is known to favor godd seam bowling as the English cricket team found out when Glen McGrath ripped a hole bigger then Girish's anus through them in 2005.

Clark bangs the ball in hard like Glenn and gets the results.

As for Hauritz. My left nut gets better movement then his spinners. Bowled pathetically badly at Cardiff and only saved by a bunch of daft shots from English batsman.

Siddle is a fantastic bowler, IMO. It's just not reflected in his stats, yet.

I agree about Hauritz, though. He was poor at Cardiff, but managed to get some wickets. If Australia want the option of a spinner, they have no choice but to go with Hauritz.

This is part of Cricket I don't know much about with Hauritz going off can they replace him for another bowler or just the replacement field

Just the replacement fielder. The replacement fielder(the substitute) is not allowed to bat or bowl.

opara was far too cavalier for the circumstances there.

Strauss will have to be careful now, we need his stability.

Another wicket down for England, probably be smelling a collapse now.

Shame for Cook, I hope Strauss gets his 100 now. He deserves it.

250 for 2, looking pretty good with the strike rate England have achieved.

What is KP doing?

The TMS commentary is top notch at the minute though, v.funny, Aggers and Tuffers.

Well done on Strauss getting a century, good to see someone in the top order have some nerve. Hopefully he'll carry on and get a huge score.

KP needs to stop playing with fire.

Strauss dropped, half chance for the Aussies.

Dear me we've got to be careful now, we can't rely on the tail to do what they did in Cardiff again.

If Bopara doesn't get in and then make a score soon, his position at 3 has surely to come under threat from Bell.

Yes, hardly ever do England really capitalise on a good start, like we had today. One more wicket today and the Aussies will have had a very decent day.

Bell seems to fold everytime he plays at number 3 but yeah Bopara isn't doing much better at the moment.

I dont think Bell is any better.

At last Bell has experience of managing to bat for more than 5 minutes against the Aussies. I think Bopara has great potential, but everybody got a bit carried away with his series of 100s against a piss-poor West Indies team. For me, I'm not sure he's really ready to graduate from the one day team just yet.

Arse - he was our last real chance of a proper;y big innings to go with Strauss. Just got to hope for some fast scoring from the rest... which will leave us pretty much where we were after the first innings in Cardiff.

It's a bit daft that the caf is about 1 minute ahead of cricinfo, and two ahead of bbc. Anybody know any quicker score sites? It must be possible, if not maybe we should set one up... there's money to be made!

Sorry lads that was my fault, when i leave the TMS commentary we seem to lose wickets.

Granted Colly threw it away there but after Cardiff i think we'll cut him a little slack. Was damn careless though and puts us right on the back foot.

I enjoy it more than watching on sky tbh.

Is it just me that think Skys coverage is too moany, whiney and dull?

Atherton's the worst for it.
