Finally.
I don't know what Svriramakrishnan looks like but based on his voice I can imagine he looks a bit like a skeleton midget.LSR seems genuinely sad that Rahul got out. Get fecked you fecking skeleton midget.
Who would you pick though Ash? As openers I mean. This whole intent talk will not change merely by talking about it but will only change by changing the personnel. Rohit dhawan kohli rahul cannot do what Bairstow roy and stokes do simple as that. Look at pant and pandya and one can see the difference. The latter two are just fearless cricketers while our top order live on cautious approach.
I will drop dhawan completely and groom someone like ishan or pritvi shaw who both are fearless in their approach. Sadly kohli will never drop rahul due to the loyalty factor so we are stuck with him unless he just continuously fails.Who would you pick though Ash? As openers I mean.

Depends on Roy, Bairstow & Stokes if they do what they done in the last ODI then most likely, but we do love a collapse like in the test matches and the 1st ODIKishan, Shaw, SKY.. one of them.
Pandya gone.. match gone.
They will never drop rohit and that is why I didn't even mention that idea and to be fair to rohit he may start slow but he does cover up and scores big (not recently though). Both dhawan and rahul score 100 or 90 and perishes. Rohit after reaching 100 will go berserk. Same with Kohli too.I'd argue at the top Rohit is a bigger problem than Dhawan. He starts off much slower than Dhawan but makes up for it the longer he bats - but the thing is, you don't need him there at the end because Pant and Hardik are just as destructive.
Wrt Rahul, I feel like he's already been earmarked to be the next Indian captain. So they'll push that agenda as far as they can.

Prasidh is equally bad. In this age of cricket it is unacceptable if you can't even hang around a bit.I don't think I have seen anyone as afraid of facing a fast ball as Natarajan. Its almost as bad as I was.
lucky him.. didnt get to face a ball.
India have thrown it away. England ready to hold their beer.
Speculative and no way of knowing if true. Top order made more runs last match and got to 330 there. We aren’t good enough to get 400 and haven’t got players for that. Strike rate and average are trade offs and this is our level.Weird thing is that there will be talk about India getting all out for 329 even after intent but actually they got 329 because they had intent from the start and most of the wickets had nothing to do with aggressive batting . If the top order had batted like normal and then India had a collapse they probably get 250

Losing Pant and Hardik at the end was disappointing. We are atleast 50 runs short. England will chase this again in 45 overs
Rishabh should play all formats, there should not be any discussion on this.
Actually they are not trade offs , you don't need to slog to be aggressive. Indian openers didn't slog at all today and still got hundred in 14 overs . It's about being on the lookout for bad balls and trying to hit boundaries if you get one . India got 328 because of the collapse but that collapse had nothing to do with aggressive batting , it won't happen everytime and so you will be able to score even bigger . On the other hand in the last match India scored this many despite scoring 125 in the last 10 which is not sustainable
