With 3 cbs and rice who will just sit it's worth ago imo it also let's us use another top player higher up.Can/does Mount play central midfielder? I thought he was more of an attacking midfielder?

I am not sure Sterling starts, I would rather Grealish or Sancho.Lingard would be a waste. The likelihood is that Foden, Mount and Sterling start in behind Kane and all of Grealish, Sancho and Rashford (and probably Saka) are coming off the bench ahead of him.
Not Shaw?Sterling clearly shouldn't start, but does anyone really have any faith that we won't revert to type. Southgate is talking big about he will pick players on form, the proof will be in the pudding though and Sterling and Rashford shouldn't start if that's the case. I suspect at least one of them will though.
If everyone is fit I'd play:
Pickford
James Maguire Stones Chilwell
Rice Bellingham
Mount
Foden Sancho
Kane
But I highly doubt we will go with that. It also seems unlikely Maguire is going to be fit for the opening game which is a big concern as I don't fancy either Coady or Mings to replace him, and not sure if you can really play Walker CB in a 4, and on top of that I don't want us to play a 5 either as we never looked good playing like that in the Nations League last year.
Lingard in?
Wan-BissakaJWP surely you would think?
Sancho had a cracking second half of the bundesliga season. He has to be ahead of Sterling for the opening game.I am not sure Sterling starts, I would rather Grealish or Sancho.
Wan-Bissaka
These are the only two answers. I’d choose JWP if I’m honest. Best set piece taker in Europe.Ben White or JWP
Southgate has never been that keen on him, plus he's had injuries and poor form. It's always more difficult to apply that rule where there isn't great depth in a position (e.g. CB and midfield). Also whats Maddison up to? Is it just because he has been in bad form? Because if so that rule doesnt seem to have been applied elsewhere.
At RB? Wouldn’t surprise me.JWP likely to be his replacement ?
It's just that Mount, Grealish and Foden are all better than him. As long as they're fit there's really no space for him in the squad.I would take Godfrey over White. I suspect he will take JWP though since we have Coady and Mings as CB cover already (and the likes of Walker, Shaw and Rice who can do a job) even though they are shit.

Gotta be lingard, he shoulda been in the squad already.
Shaw has to start. He’s been levels above Chilwell this season. Only caveat to that is in a back 5 where Chillwell is probably a better wingback.Sterling clearly shouldn't start, but does anyone really have any faith that we won't revert to type. After watching that game last night I must admit I'm not really pumped up to watch the tournament
It was silly to carry 3 right backs in the first place but why was he still playing in the 90th minute?
Now England are left with a 30 yr old right back and a relatively inexperienced Reece James at the international level.
Southgate really is a muppet when it comes to squad selection and man management
I think the squad can be changed till England's first game. There’s lots of speculation about who is going to replace him - but when does the decision need to be made?
I presume a medical report needs to be signed off by UEFA to confirm that he’s actually injured.
