Elon Musk | Doer of things on X and sad little man

really! i liked it because the message was so unsubtly in-your-face and over-the-top! (even if it was aimed at every single thing i believe in). they got a conservative comedian to do an inspiring speech about freedom and individualism!

Denis Leary is not conservative in the American sense of the word. His humor is great. He's offends through dark exaggeration with a great New York accent. Not his fault that his standup comedy seems to be used by the Republicans as their feck-everybody-but-me-playbook.

Anybody liking this clip should take a listen to his No Cure for Cancer album and enjoy his rant in Asshole.

He's been accused of stealing both of those.

Besides the obvious irony, does Elon realize the Spartans lost and were slaughtered to a man?

That's true. In the arts, the line between stealing and being inspired is as thin as a brushstroke. I suppose marketing made the difference in my case. I'll admit I mostly buy creative works I like without researching their originality.

Elon Musk’s Farage meeting renews reports he could fund Reform UK

Reform treasurer also joins talks at Donald Trump’s home as hard-right party says ‘we can do great things together’

Can’t he find another hobby than geopolitics?

Of course they could do great things together.
Farage and Reform are Climate Change deniers.... and Musk is the owner of one of the biggest EV producers in Tesla.
Makes complete (non) sense.

What benefit is there for him in doing this?

I can understand him fluffing Trump to benefit his business ventures, but what could he get from the UK? We are poor as feck. It can't just be for shitposting and memes.

He totally cares about climate change, as long as you ignore most of the thing he does.

Other way around. The Overton window has very much shifted to the right.

Bit of a side note, but I think its important to note that its not this simple.
On some social issues, it's very much shifted to the left (at least from a traditionalist perspective) in the last 20 years - particularly with LGBTQ rights like gay marriage and diversity and inclusion like how racist jokes are not acceptable in corporate workplaces today whereas they were two decades ago.
On other issues, Trump has shifted the Overton window in ways not clearly defined by left-right parameters like the move toward US isolationism and adding tariffs not being a left-right thing .

Yeah, that’s fair.

Me: "heart attack! We need a doctor!"
Man: "I'm Dr Dre"
Me: "this woman is going to die"
Dre: "bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks"

This is going to happen!

Centrist Musk is just concerned the world he loves so much is going to shit due to the unhinged far left.

Sorry I'm late. These two posts highlight the agenda, and unfortunately, Musk's ideological leanings are extremely dangerous and will cause a hell of a lot of damage should they be realised.
He's not just doing this for profit, he's ideologically driven.

Concerning. But I’m sure the politicians of the western world will do absolutely nothing and still hand him government contracts.

In many ways its good that Elmo has started his far-right revolution in the US, plenty of ample fools there who will soon have their leopard eating faces moment once they realise the billionaire arsehole is.....a billionaire arsehole, and their lives will be immeasurably worse off after he cuts their access to healthcare, disaster relief or any subsidies they'll have heavily relied on. Feel bad for the folk there who didn't want any part of it, but perhaps once the simpletons realise that 'owing the libs' and banning terms like 'cisgender' doesn't improve their lives for the better, the sooner the whole Trump/Musk/Farage circus is exposed for what it really is, even for the braindead fools who drink the koolaid about them somehow being the anti-establishment crusaders that look out for their interests. There were some signs of disconnect with the whole UNH CEO murder with Trump condemning those who praised the killing of one of his 'own' ruling class compatriots.

Where did all these similar looking blonde women supporting facism come from? We have the same epidemic in The Netherlands with Raisa Blommensteijn, Eva Vlaardingerbroek en Kim Boon.

I'm not linking to any of em, because feck em.

They should bring back the blonde nazi woman from Indiana Jones and the last crusade. Although she’s probably not as hot nowadays

There was a young blonde nazi in coronation street for a while, but she's a goodie now. Maybe they'll all become goodies.

Just had a Bernie Sanders video about Musk pop up on my YouTube, I'm out of the loop what's going on?

When I read the book Snowcrash I always saw Musk as the villain, can't remember his name.... he's leaning into it (just like Zuck and the guy in Ready Player One).
