Agreed. Especially if we take a leap of faith and connect Fabregas to whoever Moyes was alluding to in his pressers recently as "very happy with progress" or whatever.

Car you still see either being so urgent that he had to jump on a flight from Sydney 4 days early? Surely if it was one of those two or Fellaini he would have been able to wait until Sunday when he was back or get most of the business concluded by other means.

If I was forced to guess I would say that Barca have shown a bit of interest in Rooney and there may be an attempt to put a deal in place with them and a swap + cash with Cesc. [/fullonmuppet]

Maybe you are right and it is a big signing but signing Fabregas will never happen- and you can quote me on that! We have far more chance of signing Ronaldo or Bale and they are unlikely.

Well Marquinhos, according to his agent we've made offers along with PSG and Barcelona. So could be for the same reason

This is taking too long. Why doesn't he go round the world the other way, it's got to be quicker.
 
Moyes was talking about wanting to make sure the first signing would be the right one. Can't help but feel it will be a midfielder because that's the most pressing area so no doubt we'll probably sign a winger. Probably Ronaldo...Tut...Typical.

I reckon it's fellaini because we know his price and it would be uncomplicated. It's 100% not Fabregas nor Rooney. Even if we were in for Fabregas, it would be a last day jobbie.
