Eden Hazard

He'll go to Madrid or stay at Chelsea I presume in the summer,
I can't imagine he'd swap Chelsea for us, or them wanting to sell to us.

Madrid will be focused on replacing Ronaldo's goals in the near future, not spending a world record fee on a wideman who doesn't score many goals ( relatively speaking)
I expect Barca to be linked in the near future as pressure on Neymar when they finally open contract negotiations.

My dark horse here is Bayern with one of their aging wingers leaving. They need wide dribblers and Robben and Ribery are always hurt. They're going to sign someone this summer and I can't see any positions they need someone other than maybe RB with Lahm a year older (and a year better suited to DM, maybe) and Rafinha being their lone player who plays lots of minutes and isn't world class, the shithead.

Lewandowski up front backed up by Muller. Muller as 10 backed up by Gotze (getting more starts since Muller is sometimes the 9). Costa and Hazard on the wings with Robben or Ribery around getting time when healthy and Coman the other winger in the final year of his loan.

Seems like enough starts.

I read somewhere that Barca needs to sale players to balance their books.

Mata - Herrera - Hazard
Martial

Then replace Mata with Griezmann and Reus in the summer.
imagine getting Hazard and adding Griezmann  :eek:

He hasn't scored from open play in about 20 odd matches. He's certainly not good enough for Madrid.

Hmmm, amazing how opinions change. At his best, he's very, very hard to replace, especially with what's out there in the market and what it will cost. His attitude sucks, for sure.

I don't think he is. He doesn't score/assist a lot, doesn't really create as much as is made out he does and his dribbling is quite pointless half the time. Also, his position is easiest to replace (If it even needs replacing at Chelsea).

this year's Hazard doesn't need replacing, but last year's does - if Chelsea want to contend again.

The lad's best attribute is his diving.. which he took full advantage of on route to a title.

Since Hiddink has taken over, we have scored 24 goals in 11 games. That's on average just over 2 goals per game (2.18 if I'm right) and that's with many players not really contributing enough (Pedro and Oscar can be upgraded). Its quite obvious that the attack is not the problem at Chelsea, it's the defence that needs fixing. Hazard has no part in the defence so I don't think him at his best would be too much of a loss

We should be all over this. 50m? 60m? Just get it done.

I'm convinced he'll recover from his slump and go back to the player he was. Supremely talented and kind of players we should be looking at.

Forgot to mention, he said he wants to compete for the CL, so that rules United out.

So, another "I'll go to a Champions League club" statement coming up.

No, thank you. His attitude sucks.

I thought his impact for Chelsea was overstated, even last season.

I wouldn't want us to go near him, he'll no doubt go for an inflated fee and he seems like a prima donna anyway.

Full quotes:
“[It is] difficult to say no to PSG, or to any of the teams capable of winning the Champions League. PSG are now in that category. And for me, winning the Champions League is my main aim.”
“For the moment, I’m not really thinking about [a move],”

Maybe he should concentrate on getting his season back on track instead of pissing off the Chelsea fans even further.

He really is a dumb piece of shit.

If he isn't thinking of a move, then why would he be thinking about how difficult it would be to turn down PSG.
