Eden Hazard | "It's time to enjoy life drinking beers"

Peak Drogba was better than peak Rooney. I don’t think you will ever find one Striker completely overpower entire defenses on his own and help so much defensively. (Just my opinion) but Tevez was better than Rooney too.

Also I never cared for Bale, he scored a lot and he was quick but I personally never saw him score the individually brilliant goals Hazard scored. A few long range efforts here and there but not completely breaking Defensive lines like Hazard.
Peak Tevez and Drogba better than peak Rooney?! I mean, I know I'm probably a little biased but this seems so wrong I'm wondering if it's a wum

Well given everyone seems so obsessed with using stats to bring Hazard down, Drogba's best season shits all over any of Rooney's statistically.

I thought you of all people wouldn't have the brass neck to mock other predictions. Didn't you think you were going to win the league this season?
Second. Big shock, i am do embarrassed.. Hows the 80 point haul coming along? Pulisic still better than Rashford? Bruno still not get into a combined Chelsea / Utd 11 yet? Hopefully Lampard has a strong end to this season since he did so much better than Ole last year..

 it's less about trying to bring him down, and more about revising our opinions about him. I stand by my opinion that the fact that he's carried your team for years due to the impotence of your strikers may be affecting your judgment of him.

:lol::lol::lol:

You mean aside from the time he ripped apart the Champions League holders with one of the best hat-tricks ever scored? Or that time he won the Champions League himself with maybe the best goal ever scored in a CL final? Or that time he nigh-on single handedly dragged a team full of Championship cloggers to the semi-final of the Euros?...

Last time I checked Bruno was too busy bragging about scoring a penalty in your joint biggest ever home defeat.

Maguire > SIlva
Fred > Kante
Dan James > Gianfranco Zola
Massimo Taibi > Petr Cech
William Prunier > Marcel Desailly

According to this place.
Ah yeah, I suppose the Chelsea fans have been the beacons of objectivity since, have they? According to your lot, you've had better players than us in every single position since 2004, it's a miracle we ever won anything. You're just the southern RAWKites at this point.

Well Costa wasn't impotent and neither was Eto'o was for that matter.

Well we haven't said that and even if we did, very few would come close to the shambles of comparing Maguire favroubly against Thiago Silva.

Still seeking our approval. God bless em
So challenging your ignoranc is "seeking your approval" now is it?

Weren't you similarly targeting the German posters (with personal attacks) the other day?

tell timo what ? are you trying to fecking say werner has been starved of chances lmfaooooooo
come back when fred wins the league or a world cup
its weird how you talk when you couldnt even get out the cl group stage and we just walked through la ligas top team
Not starved of chances but starved of chances to use his pace and get him up isolated v defenders, yes. You are so fecking slow with the ball its ridculous. 6 non pen and OG goals in 10 league games btw..
Last time I checked Bruno was too busy bragging about scoring a penalty in your joint biggest ever home defeat.
Is that what took him out of your combined Chelsea / Utd 11? Any other gems in your selections?

You're like the Chelsea equivalent of Ty.

I don't think there's anything I could ever say that would top your prediction of United winning the league, Ole with Maguire as skipper outsmarting Pep over 38 games, You've got a good sense of humour I'll give you that!

If he's not starved of chances then what's the problem for him ? If he's missing all these sitters which he has it means he is getting the ball quick enough.
You're talking nonsense.

Its clear Hazard time in Madrid has been disrupted with injuries, to call him a flat track bully is a bit of a joke

You see people call the likes of Ronaldo and Rooney flat track bullies, when they repeatedly scored against everyone, so not surprised.
Some people seem to wrongly think scoring MORE against crapper teams than good teams makes them flat track, but that's basically every single player in football history.

The ultimate flat track premier league player was Lukaku.

Well this thread is a car crash, reminds me why I have certain posters on ignore.
As for Hazard it’s a shame what’s happened to him , one of the best players I’ve ever seen play at Anfield, one of the few who regularly turned up and ripped us a new one.

There’s plenty of great PL players and each sides fans are going to have their own biases.

You cant get him away and use his pace. In Germany they could, its right there if you want to go watch it. Here, your play is so slow he isnt getting into space but having to face up FBs and their cover to get away. Watch how we free Rashford and then watch Timo has to wait for the ball.
No youre right, youre using Timo perfectly. Carry on.

Hazard and Drogba better than Rooney and Giggs!??

I love the former and their time in the Premier League. I took a 3 hour plane ride just to watch Drogba in person, but no one with that opinion can be serious?

What

Hes been through enough
Hes had more than enough chances this season to hit at least 20 goals.
Rashford only has like 3 or 4 more goals in the league than him so you ain't doing a good job yourself.

We are second! Its a lot closer to being right then this distant 4th that everybody had us. How is that a black mark against me?
Heres your response to someone saying Rashford is better than Pulisic. Post 1454

Can you post your top 4 prediction buddy? Lets see who is closest at the end of it all.

No, he hasnt. You dont know how to get your pacey forwards away.
Rashford has 28 goal involvement this season, Timo has 17, one goal in 17 league games.
3 or 4..ok. Thats Morata front loading his goals trick again.
Anyway, we are going nowhere with this. Beats waiting until Utd players struggle so Chelsea fans can ram home their bias trend thats happened over the last 18 months i suppose. About time this was called out when Utd arent struggling.
No hard feelings sir!

And assuming you hold on to that position it's still a very distant second behind City, that matches Jose's best efforts which Solskjaer himself said was a failure, yet you will tell anyone that will listen you are making progress.

Funnily enough I actually reckon you may challenge next year if you got in a Nagelsmann/Allegri, overhaul your defense (Shaw aside) and created a system that got the best out of Pogba and brought out the Ajax Van De Beek but for some strange reason many of you seem hell bent on sticking to what's not working (you are Manchester United, if you want to dine on the being the biggest club in the country which you undoubtedly are you can't moan when you're judged on expectations to match).

Werner has 5

Drogba may have been better than Rooney "that one time".

But Rooney is the better player overall, and quite easily.

As for the Hazard/Giggs comparison, I can only laugh.

Wait who is comparing Rooney and Drogba?

Absolutely no comparison to be made, Drogba isn’t half as good as Rooney overall.

Drogba was a big game player who in general returned average numbers each season.

11 points with 9 (?) games to go if we win our game in hand, Is it that far behind really? Who knows what the difference will be at the end of the season. Ole has got us from 6th to 3rd and now favourites for second. When you say not working, do you mean tangible, gradual improvement? 1 league defeat in 5 months, unbeaten away in the league for 15(?) months.
Lampard was a miracle worker for getting 4th last year without buying anybody yet Ole takes the same starting 11 due to transfer committee feck ups and takes us second. 8 players in our first 11 were here under Jose 3 years ago.
Explain what isnt working under Ole. Where is he going wrong. Its almost as if it took a side to go on a near world record breaking run to streak ahead of us...
All i really know is Pulisic is not better than Rashford.

Don't know. I think it would best for both parties to part ways.

I can't see them shifting him on for a massive loss after one season. He's obviously on a huge contract too so his options would be limited. Madrid are best seeing how he fares next season.

Drogba was a big game player who in general returned average numbers each season.
Two season's he delivered a 30 plus goal return despite not being the main penalty taker.

Two others he lead the line for teams that (at the time) broke the PL points record and followed up with the joint second best tally.

One other he granted had a quiet league campaign but delivered clutch moments in a CL win (FA Cup too).

One other he got struck down by a deadly illness.

He had only two genuinely average season's and even then scored in finals both times.

You're right he wasn't regaurly stat padding at the Stadium of Light but when trophies were on the line he almost always delivered.

Don't think anyone in good faith could argue Drogba should be ranked ahead of Rooney in terms of PL greats. I do think, however, that you wouldn't be crazy to pick Drogba ahead of Rooney for a single match where your life was on the line.

You mention Jose, his best achievements at United was 2nd place, League Cup and Europa. Best case scenario you match two of them two and a half years into Ole's tenure.

Like I said you're Manchester United, if you want to dine on how big you are you can't also bang on about "gradual improvements", you think Real, Barca and Bayern fans would do the same? Xavi said that he had a conversation with Mata and was stunned at the kind of mediocrity you were accepting and said Barca fans would have wanted to 'kill them' if they 'achieved' similar.

Given your size you should (like Real, Barca, Bayern etc) be judged on winning titles and regularly getting to latter stages of CL, I will be astonished if you achieve either under Ole especially while Pep is about.

Also if you were so much better than us as you keep implying, then shouldn't it be a black mark against Ole for needing goal difference (and ultimately us to lose at Anfield) to finish above us?
