Ed Woodward has resigned from Manchester United | 2024: Returns to football

Woodward was a blight on the club but don't for a second forget that the people who put him there have been and remain, the real problem. He was just a convenient blunt instrument.

You haven't worked at United mate!

I didn't but my mates who are close to the club speak highly of him.

I am relying on third person information so I bow to your superior knowledge (no sarcasm intended)

Shaw and Herrera taking Woodward out to the woods to be shot.

Thanks @Olly Gunnar Solskjær

If this ESL had to happen for Woodward to feck off then thank God for these last 48 hours !!

I'm buzzing more than any good result could have ever done !!!!

Sky reporting it now. The club have “heard the fans speak”

The best news ever. I was actually finishing a wank on Pornhub and heard this news. Best ejaculation ever!

Not much cause for celebration until the Glazers are gone. People are assuming that things will get better when the main problem remains.

It's an ill wind and all that. I expected this lot to crash and burn - I hadn't expected it to happen quite this fast

Farewell sweet prince. From the summer of Fellaini to the 36 hour Superleague, a director like no other.

What difference does that make? Not sure why many people are celebrating this news. Woodward has done his job fine until this esl debacle. The only other bad thing he has done is his manager selection.

So perhaps that is a positive. What will a new chairman bring? Will he make us the 1st most expensive team rather than second? Be more ruthless in sacking manager? Give more focus on the club infrastructure?

Good riddance to the odious cnut.

Don't let him simply be the scapegoat by this parasite family.

The Glazers found their scapegoat.

Sure.

However the Glazers have just revealed their soft underbelly here. They are vulnerable to intense criticism coming from fans. We should exploit that
