He thought it’s a business we will go the Real Madrid model and buy galacticos but we brought the wrong players without the right desire.
I’ll be honest he’s leaving the club in a good position now but he did feck it up.
Lessons learned from this are keep as much continuity as possible and if the manager leaves pick the next very carefully not necessarily the big name but they must have experience and if they connected to United then even better.

That was the way the original statement read but since its been changed to he resigned due to "the fall out of the Super League" Theres something about it too at Uniteds web site but it doesnt why he resigned and, naturally, praises him to the hilt!
