What a 48 hours it has been.
His position as representative of Manchester United was untenable. Our reputation has been severely damaged. Someone had to go for the club to save face.
The CEO would be appointed by then, so it would be someone who aligns to their interest.
I genuinely think this is going to be it for them. At this stage, getting docket points so we cannot participate in Europe next season would be very welcome. I will carefully check the stocks value, with the lost reputation after the ESL fiasco and hopefully getting points removed, the stock might quickly go south (especially knowing that the financial statements are going to be far weaker for the next year). They might decided that the club stock is not gonna increase more and start selling it.
Fecking hell this has come out of nowhere but it makes sense right? This is crazy though as I was just reading in another thread that this would surely be one failure too much.
