Yes the game that has so far taken 12 years to make and counting. With 3D realms going bust it looked like that was the end, but a strange picture appeared on facebook group called Duke Nukem: D-Day that looked uncannily like a shot from the leaked production footage of Duke Nukem Forever.

Could it be that we'll actually see this game in our lifetime?

I missed Duke Nukem the first time round. Worth playing?
 
Definitely mate, it's a tad dated now in style but if you liked Doom you'll like this. It's on xbox arcade if you've got that, it's pretty damn fun playing the old girl on a big screen.

Duke Nukem 3D was one of my favourite ever games when I was a kid. I remember playing it for the first time and thinking it was the best game of all time. It was really creative, full of great ideas. I actually played through it again a few months ago, bought it on Steam, and I still had a brilliant time with it. Would recommend giving it a shot
 
I'll get a look at it over christmas then when i've some time off. Aint got time at the minute for gaming, pain in the hole as im trying to get through fallout 3 and complete mass effect again haha. I'll give the videos a watch when i get home.

It's available on iTunes for the iPod touch and iPhone for only 59p!

There's a free soundboard too.
 
Blasphemy niMic! The game would have been quite possibly the greatest next gen game based on an old shooting game character that spouts catchphrases kills aliens and has blonde hair.

3D realms did feck up big time though, they started from scratch twice in the "making" of Forever. The second time they had the game made but scrapped it as it was for the old gen consoles and wanted to make a next gen version.
 
After 14 years the game will be released, Gearbox (the guys behind Borderlands) picked up the IP and are making it.

They're saying a demo should be coming out soon-ish.
 
Which was the PS1 Duke Nukem where he went back in time?
 
I'd like to throw my hand at a few of the older shoot 'em ups that got incredible reviews. Xander you were saying Half Life 2 is incredible ?

I've also heard that Doom 3 is amazing
 
I don't care what anyone says, I'll only believe its coming out when I see it on the shelves of shops.

Half Life 2 is a must play, just wish they'd release episode 3 for crying out loud!
