Utd's half year profits were announced by the BBC a while back as £30 million. It is probable that they exceded £50 million for the full year. In addition to that figure there is £23 million of the first instalment of the £300 million Nike deal to add. That means Utd have a conservative profit margin of around £73 million this season. The Rio deal requires a £15 million payment this season and £14 million next.
Utd will not be just signing Rio this season. Duff is a target and a n other. Cheer up, Dans!
