Not really a fan, to be honest. I'm sure it's a matter of taste and that it has its merits, but I get the impression most people listen to dubstep to make some sort of fashion statement.
No offence to anyone if they do this like but is this some sort of uni joke against garage music? Some of this sounds like a dodgy computer or a lawn mower... can i have what your having?
Yeh it's not everyones tastes but its the next branch of the whole electronica genre. It's the low frequency bass that controls the songs, you have to listen to these songs on good sound systems otherwise you won't feel any of the bass at all. I'd say it's the next best after Grime as that didn't carry on and Niche never really took off, more for the chavs up north.
It's not really about the low end bass anyone, it's more the mid range. Unfortunately any element of musicality or rhythm seems to have been lost too.
Dubstep has entered the OED. Rejoice.

Dubstep is not for cnuts like me.
I had the displeasure of attending a dubstep night tonight. Never before have I been in the presence of such a bunch of odious cretins, moronically 'dancing' to noise (not music). I left after about half an hour in disgust.
Dubstep is for cnuts.
i only like a couple of dubstep songs and this is one of them
