People are on pills to it now? It always used to be a few spliffs in the club at the start, then the k heads came in and the vibe changed a bit.
Well I've been pilled up at dubstep nights plenty of times... and I certainly wasn't the only one, lol. The music as a whole is different to when it first appeared on the scene. The dubby element and moody vibes are slowly fading away and a lot of the stuff you here most DJ's playing has a lot more in common with jump up dnb... the big builds/drops, mid-range LFO synth basslines, busier drum tracks, etc. Much more dancefloor-orientated nowadays.
As for ket... well, I've been livin in Bristol for the last couple of years, so I'm not sure what it's like in back in Manc, but yeah, always plenty of people wobbling about smashed off their tits on k. Don't understand why anyone would wanna do it in a club personally but each to their own I suppose.

Chainsaw Calligraphy is just ridiculous. Im all for dutty but that is just awful IMO
Yeah, it's almost just an attempt to show how dirty you can go with dubstep, and it pushes it too far.
I think it's great. 16bit is a very good producer.
I remember when dubstep was exciting and good...Most of the stuff posted here is pretty unlistenable other than what Heardy posted.
