He is excellent but opposite of a Mourinho striker. We will miss out on a lot of players because of Mou's very outdated picture of what a striker should be. Isolated, strong, hold up play and a finisher.

Yeah but you're avoiding the core of the argument. We were never in for him. He's not a Mourinho type striker. And it's highly unlikely he'll leave on the summer he signed his contract.
Sadly, this one needs to be put to bed for now.
Lack of vision, needed to pull the rabbit out of the hat like we did with Hernandez in fergie era ,he could have been one.
Still I would not give up on grizo until next season and go low key in this one.
Regardless, Griezmann is not a #9. He's a support striker. With Rooney and Ibra on their final legs and Rashford only 19 we need a #9 more urgently. Griezmann can be put off for a year. A #9 (I personally feel) cannot.
