Yeah I've heard it before and I like it. I like a rapper who can change it up with speed and slow it down with a little bit of Harmony and smoothness. Spot on about Eminem though, his early stuff was the best. These days he puts on to many accents to try rhymes his words and hasn't really used his raw talent. He did well on the song 'beautiful'. Straight emotive lyrics and his proper voice. More of that on Relapse 2 and it would be another classic. What's your opinion on Bone Thugs (old but my favorite)
And agree with your edited paragraph, there are heaps of dudes with top lyrics but can't flow for shit. Modern day listeners are enticed by beats and flows so it's a shame really. Boss how good is Lupe on go go gadget flow..
But some of his collaborative work recently he's been killing it. Check him feature on Forever and Drop the World. None of that messing around.
Honestly I think Korrupt, The Game, Eminem, Nate, 50 and Snoop(if he stops autotuning) have to feature on this album. Horrified that Jay-Z is apart of the first single. Doesn't bode well for lovers of 2001
You mean slang for break a leg which is like to go hard on this album. I feel you dawg I feel you. Oh and playing all his stuff at the same time?! Like I never even thought of it.
Are you serious?
Eminem has better flow than Jay-z?
Even as a non-Jigga fan I can safely say thats rubbish.
Em is good and is quite righly considered a legend, however he can't touch Jay-z for flow simple as.
Also i'm not sure if you're trying to say he has better flow than method man but if you are thats rubbish as well. Method Man might not be the best lyricist around but in terms of flow there are next to none who can match him, certainly no Eminem.
For almost three decades Dr. Dre has been a trendsetter in the U.S. music industry, through his recordings with gangsta rappers N.W.A. and later as a producer and record executive who helped launch the careers of Eminem, Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent. Dre’s potentially defining, and probably final, musical work is the album Detox, which has achieved near-mythical status after being in production since 2003.
The much anticipated album is inching toward a spring 2010 release. The first single, “Under Pressure” and featuring Jay-Z, will be released this month. Lately, Dre has concentrated on sound from the ears outward. He has leant his name to a line of upscale headphones, “Beats by Dr Dre” by Monster Cable of Brisbane, California.

Can't Wait, I know Drizzy would make the final cut
Apparently a snippet instrumental of the upcoming track off Detox feat Jay-Z 'Under Pressure'

Doesn't seem to be the finished version, obviously a leak, but maybe leaked too early? I also read a rumour that this song is no longer on Detox, but is for some advert for headphones.
there are some Dr. Dre branded headphones. They're ridiculously expensive.
