Downing to Liverpool?

75m on the terrible trio of Henderson, Carroll and Downing is both incredible and hilarious.

Yeah, and there's no doubt that even if Henderson does have potential and eventually improves, he probably won't pay off the original fee that they paid for him.

Indeed. The reason Downing's playing shite is not because his confidence is low, it's because he's a mediocre winger. He often looks like he's lacking in confidence, but he hasn't got a lot to be confident about.
 
Raul Meireles has more assists for Liverpool this season in half an hour than Downing does in 24 games.

Has to be said, one's got decent pace but a shite left foot, and the other's united's best player this season.

In terms of overrated players Downing is my number 1. I hear he is about to make Englands left wing his own, for the past 7 years. Parker is someone I've thought was overrated, but it slowly changing my mind. Gareth Barry can go alongside him perhaps.
