Still a bit if head scratcher, we have needed a right winger for years, ziyech was available to buy last summer and during January but opted to buy van der beek from ajax instead despite costing more than ziyech and we already had pogba and Fernandes?

All I can say is we better be buying sancho this summer as well then.

listen cockface...you are the most vile cumstain I've ever encountered on this forum. You monopoloise this thread you come across with some half arsed one liner that would'nt qualify for the Joe Longthorne show and then present yourself like you are the King of comedy on American prime time. You epitimise most of what I detest about the internet...opinions formed at the drop of a hat....petty jokes at the expense of others with no thought for their feelings and most of all the self absorbing egotistical self correction of spelling that really points out to every other poster that the highlight of your day is a wank to "big tit weekly". You dont have the friends here you perceive yourself to have and have the intellect of a gnat and the culmanation of this sceario will be your demise in a slow and agonising manner.

Be warned

Best case realistic scenario we have upgraded Fred and strengthened the squad. That's nice. It's not going to get anyone excited about next season though.
I doubt he will have the immediate impact Bruno had, but he may do. More likely he will be decent and will improve from there. Could develop into a top midfielder. Maybe not, of course, but let’s give the boy a chance.

you know what - yes I would! Because what’s an extra 20 mill when it comes to getting a proper class act? I accept that is subjective

but I think bruno and jack could dovetail and with our runners/ strikers the movement and opportunities would be exponential.

hey that’s just my opinion!
but please dont get me wrong - I’m not saying don’t get Donny - just want Grealish / sancho / both!!!!
VdB at £35m is a far better buy than Grealish at £80m. Grealish is hardly better than VdB and is nowhere near worth over double the price.

We all saw Bruno run into the ground, we need a dangerous understudy, and we need strength in midfield in general. I'm delighted at the news!

Some performances vs big teams from him. These are not highlights of how great he can be, but just clips of every touch hes had against top oppositions. Can see he's definately no Pogba/Bruno, and has some weaknesses in passing, but is overall clean in technique and very energetic in his play.

If these short video clips were in isolation to be his CV he'd be nowhere good enough for United. Hopefully, the scouts will have seen something a lot more than he's shown in those games. He hasn't got the elegance of Daley Blind but likely a better athlete and physique.

Great news. Really buzzing about this.

Great way to finally kick start our market. I think he'll be a great addition to our midfield.

@ £35m aged 23 vs top teams in Europe?

Some of the stuff caftards come up with is pure gold.
Going through that thread you see a lot of posters who were absolutely brilliant, I was only a lurker then but had a laugh just reading their absolute nonsense e.g. Hectic’s posts made me laugh a lot.

He did some very rash passes giving the ball away in final third on a regular vs Madrid highlights that was worrisome but overall he goes for it a lot too so maybe it just seem like he lost it more than normal, tracked back a ton and also helped defence a ton, engine on him looked great!

Yeah Hectic, Plech, Olly as well. Mockney with his Suarez rap. Though Mockney is still around.. Some funny, talented people on the caf. Hats off to @R.N7 too for absolutely smashing that fun with animation thread with absolute classics.

He's been playing in Bruno's role for Ajax so not too worried. You could make far worse compilations of some of Bruno's games against lesser opposition tbh.

Hope he's a lot better than what I saw in those videos. Definitely didn't show any flair in those clips. United as a club should be competing with the very best in Europe.

PS: I'm not judging him on a few minutes of videos. I can't say I ever remember seeing him play.

Yeah, those UCL ties are special, so not worried there either. He look very relaxed for the age and vs that type of opposition!
