Nah.
Riot potential? Orange warning?
Surely his morons were voting for him regardless of this verdict. It's how the swing voters perceive it.Nope, if he couldn't run then yes. But this doesn't stop him becoming President, if anything it rallies his morons more
RIP to the "fairest justice system in the world".

Not in Florida. So, he can run for President but can't vote in the election?
Nah...
Seems to be the way this often works. Remember what did Al Capone in in the end. No wonder buffoons like Trump want to get rid of the IRS.Its interesting that this was picked as the weakest of the cases against him. And people were lamenting the fact that this went to trial first. Now it is likely the only one that will have a verdict in before the election since all the others were successfully delayed. So at the very least Bragg deserves the credit for going ahead prosecuting this and getting his guilty verdicts.
Now obviously MAGA will galvanize behind him but they cannot hide from the fact he was convicted. They can appeal and spin it and will do all of that. But, every Dem candidate can run ads now about convicted felon trump and his cadre of sycophants in the GOP.
It's mad really - this is likely to be the deciding issue in the election in the end, but even with that knowledge its still not clear which way it swings it. Polls will be interesting in the next week.
Damn, well now it gets really interesting.
ForbesA Florida resident with a felony conviction in another state is only ineligible to vote in Florida “if the conviction would make the person ineligible to vote in the state where the person was convicted,” according to the Florida Division of Elections website—Trump has been a Florida resident since 2019.
So, if Trump were convicted in New York and unable to vote there, he would not be able to vote in Florida, but in New York, convicted felons only lose their voting rights while incarcerated, meaning—even if convicted—Trump would be able to vote as long as he doesn’t go to jail.
Trump faces a fine of up to $5,000 and up to four years in prison for each of the 34 felony counts he faces, but legal experts have generally said it’s unlikely he is sentenced to jail time—at least in part because of the “ripple effect” having a former president in jail would create.
Blair Bowie, an attorney at the Campaign Legal Center, told NBC News the only way Trump “wouldn’t be able to vote is if he is in prison on Election Day,” citing New York’s felon voting protocols.
If convicted, Trump could also appeal the case and ask for any potential prison sentence to be delayed during appeal, which could be a way of ensuring he could vote even if he faces jail time.
You don’t know that, nor do I. There might be those who won’t vote for him because of this verdict. Not really. The charges are minor, they will be appealed and no matter what they won't change anyone's mind about Trump. This is much ado about nothing.

34 down, 57 more to go Amazing day for America!
Fine for me.Twitter seems down, Musk running interference
His base doesn't give him the WH.Not so sure. Think this galvanises Trump's support base. They'll make a martyr of him and he will win the election by a good margin.
