I would think so, yes.

1. He doesn't have a legit midfield anchor
2. Would likely work well with Daniel
3. He has Torres already, a frontline and midfield not primed for a back 5, and the back 5 he can put together is totally meh and doesn't justify selection.

If we are talking about the same player....He opens up Real Madrid and way more talent. Not really worth at this stage of the game.

Anyway my first team is set and Reuter is optimistic options pick if I get past R1.

Yup I thought he might go with him. Reuter is really useless given he has Carols Alberto who can also play as a wing back

Very little talent left over there actually. Certainly not as useful as he would have been for you.
 
Looks like this will hit a brick wall overnight. And when I’m so close to being done as well.
 
What do we do in this instance? Just wait for Diarm? He must have an inkling that it could be his turn.

Diarm needs defenders and he leads straight to a RM legend and then there's 2 versatile class midfielders, a top forward and that's just the start. No idea where it'll lead from there.

Earlier in game, it'd be worthwhile...but opening it up for last round doesn't make sense.

Diarm passed on Pelé. What quality a certain pick may lead to is far less relevant now when you have someone ideal for your squad right in front of you.

I guess you just don't rate him or aren't seeing what everybody else is.

We both have two completely useless players in our team. It’s actually made the last couple of picks pretty nervy. We don’t have any back up and it’s crucial we get lucky.

Yeah I’m still hoping on picking up an upgrade somewhere whereas most other teams are set. One player could change completely how I set up which has kept it interesting
