I tried v hard to find one, but naddaAye, if @Cal? wanted to keep the rest of us away from C. Ronaldo for awhile he should have broken the Utd chain and picked an England teammate of Robbo instead

He was great at it, Iniesta was good at it too.
There's two or three that are probably comparable in stature to Cantona, but as this chain led to me getting Romario I'm not complaining.

I could have went any number of directions instead of Romario, and there was another attacker on a similar level to Laudrup that Sjor could have chosen (they only overlapped for a few matches), but they'd all have led to great chains anyway.

I doubt even Figo was worth opening up the likes of R9 and Romario...but Rep definitely is not.

Even if I picked Rio, Scholes or Giggs there was an obvious route for Bayern/Barca teams which at the end would give you GOAT midfielders and that little Argie.
Would've picked Keane or Robbo, but Scholes will be a little use to me in a midfield two in an all time draft.
Figo is to me one of the top five right wingers in the game and great tactical fit.
So either go with an ill fit or a player it's unlikely to use at the end of the draft whilst passing on Figo.
