Suárez has been picked, but yeah, that's the exit that took me all of 5 minutes to work out.

Mind you, it went Kaloscay>Sarosi>Kubala>Czibor>Bozsik>Hidegkuti... and basically everyone picking off the Magyars until they got stuck again.

Why @Moby would do that is beyond me though. He would probably be stuck in the Hungarian lower leagues by the time he picked again.

Why did you get involved if you didn't want to deal with a scenario like this one? You're just spoiling the whole thing and ruining this draft completely. If you wanted easy access to GOAT's, you could have stayed out of this draft and waited for an all-time theme.

You should stop overreacting. None of the players I refer are available anytime soon and that chain quite possibly will never happen. That's why I posted it after Moby picked.
 
Chill, we can add a couple more rounds of drafting if needed at the end. I like this struck in the Matrix bit. Coming out would be a all round victory for everyone involved. Keep slogging.

I "overreact" because I've been staying quiet for the past few rounds tolerating your crap. Whenever someone picks a player who potentially leads us to the rabbit hole, you start dropping hints all willy nilly. Fella, if you want to play, then play and stop trying to lure others towards certain picks.

I have a proposal to repair this and bring us back to the late 60's and early 70's in 3 picks (all great players and well known).

Lets move the chain back to Bican, but let me make a double pick, i.e, I will not break the chain, but I will make 2 picks in a row (will count as 2 picks) and make sure we are no where near the pre-1950 era with a good chain still available beyond my picks.

Another proposal is to not wait till round 8 for the reversal of chain and do it at start of round 6 from the bottom with a new chain. Would only be fair to the lads at the end.

We can probably reverse it again at round 10/12

Leave it as it is mate. It will eventually get better as I doubt most drafters would like to go into obscurity with every other pick.

Seriously the only reason we won't come out of this loop is if we don't want to, at every pick the exit has been like 2 picks away and in this case 1 pick away. Also sorry @idmanager but we are not changing any rules. I decided that when I decided to play while also hosting, its just unfair to other if I can change the rules like that. The rules are set in stone unless we are like in 19th century with no way out.
