Suárez has been picked, but yeah, that's the exit that took me all of 5 minutes to work out.If Moby picked Kaloscay > Sarosi > Czibor > Luisito Suarez and then on to Spain/Barca!

Mind you, it went Kaloscay>Sarosi>Kubala>Czibor>Bozsik>Hidegkuti... and basically everyone picking off the Magyars until they got stuck again.
Why @Moby would do that is beyond me though. He would probably be stuck in the Hungarian lower leagues by the time he picked again.
Wonder if some would be happy if they could make every pick? Why do you suggest names?
It's a competition, not a brainstorming collective session.
You should stop overreacting. None of the players I refer are available anytime soon and that chain quite possibly will never happen. That's why I posted it after Moby picked.@Edgar Allan Pillow
Why did you get involved if you didn't want to deal with a scenario like this one? You're just spoiling the whole thing and ruining this draft completely. If you wanted easy access to GOAT's, you could have stayed out of this draft and waited for an all-time theme.
I "overreact" because I've been staying quiet for the past few rounds tolerating your crap. Whenever someone picks a player who potentially leads us to the rabbit hole, you start dropping hints all willy nilly. Fella, if you want to play, then play and stop trying to lure others towards certain picks. You should stop overreacting. You specifically told Moby to pick Kaloscay before his pick then when he picked someone else, told him to change it?You should stop overreacting. None of the players I refer are available anytime soon and that chain quite possibly will never happen. That's why I posted it after Moby picked.
I provide you with the same advice.Deal with it. Don't like it, feel free to drop off.
I don't have any problems here.I provide you with the same advice.
I have a proposal to repair this and bring us back to the late 60's and early 70's in 3 picks (all great players and well known).
Lets move the chain back to Bican, but let me make a double pick, i.e, I will not break the chain, but I will make 2 picks in a row (will count as 2 picks) and make sure we are no where near the pre-1950 era with a good chain still available beyond my picks.
I agree with you. Let's move on.Let's call it quits.
Another proposal is to not wait till round 8 for the reversal of chain and do it at start of round 6 from the bottom with a new chain. Would only be fair to the lads at the end.
We can probably reverse it again at round 10/12
Suggestion #47 to get out of this:
Omg the temptation to plunge us back into the shit
Really pleased to get my hands on a top level pick here. Really worked out well and quite chuffed to get an actual top tier player from that time
No I have no idea who he is nor did any research
Leo Hendrickx

Skizzo's been a proper pisstake in this.
That last pick isn't too bad really. The guy has club teammates who played for Belgium at international tournaments, so they probably aren't complete scrubs, and there's avenues back into the known world from there.
I want us to move on but I can find no concrete proof Leo Hendrickx is a real player.
Jeez... we’re relying on a sparse wiki page written in Flemish.
I found out after picking that Bonzo keeper linked to Karel Pesek Kada, which could have been a starting player for me.Hardly Moby will field Braine in his starting lineup next to Platini at the end of the draft.
