Do you believe Ronaldo is finished as a top level player?

Well...

Time and time again players are making the wrong decision simply to try and get Ronaldo his goal.
It's becoming so predictable that rival clubs are reading us like a book.
What's worse is the more frustrated Ronaldo gets the more we try to please him.
He is awful. Arguably the worst player at the club who gets regular minutes.

I thought ten Hag wouldn't be cowed by the pressure of playing Ronaldo bit it looks like he has and as we all predicated it's to the detrement of the team.

I pray he leaves in January. Sadly he won't and we will be stuck with him for the rest of the season.

The OP asked if Rondo was finished as a top level player? He doesn't get into any other tram in the PL. He's finished but we are so afraid of him that our club turn a blind eye.

He's garbage. Just stop playing him. Hopefully the last week of him being a United player and we part ways in January

He’s a steaming turd. Has no right playing for us. He wouldn’t get into anyone else’s team in the league playing the way he has. Can’t do anything right and just falls over whenever someone makes contact. Useless. Fans and ex players pandering to this guy are the worst.

Pandering to him is going to cost us top-4.

Don't need to "believe" anything here, the evidence is out there.

He's finished.

Whether he's finished or not it doesn't matter. At the moment every aspect of his game is rubbish, and he's holding us back big time. We've been poor ever since he started playing again, and we're still not capable of scoring any. I'd rather have Elanga there.

The 204 posters who voted no shouldn't be talking bout football anymore.

He's finished in Europe, get him a one way ticket to MLS.

Viva Ronaldo, Viva Ronaldo
Always stood offside
All his shots go wide
Viva Ronaldo

He needs to seriously tighten up on his finishing, and his game should be 'come on as a sub late on, STAY IN THE BOX AND NEVER LEAVE IT, and get a tap in'. That's it. If he doesn't want that/can't do that, then it's over.

For everything else we need a striker to do, we need to go into the market and get one. Or two.

The sooner we part ways with him the better.

I feel it will just free us up as a team and allow the younger lads to flourish and not try to cater everything towards Ronaldo.

Will be glad when he leaves in January but it will be interesting to see who's fault our lack of chance creation will be then. Will it be Sancho? Rashford? Maybe Bruno? Tune in late December for more random hatred and finger pointing.

Finished enough for us to have to put up with him until the end of the season. Nobody is going to come in and take him off us.

He's a couple years late for the MLS retirement wind down party. Looks like it's about time to retire full stop

Random hatred?
It's hardly random given how he has treated the club.

He was finished before he even rejoined us. But, sentimentality and all that

Of course he is finished. You could just as well be asking if ETH is bald. Just as obvious and pointless.

If we don't get rid in January, this club is hopeless.

Hes cooked. Always thought we could count on him to score but he can't even do that.

We create far more when he isn’t on the pitch because the alternative means we can push higher, press and actually offer a threat in behind. See last 20 against Newcastle, spurs and Chelsea for details. Not entirely sure why that still needs pointing out to his fan boys at this stage.

"fan boys" you guys are so consumed by your own entrenchment you think anyone who doesn't spit on him to be an enemy of the revolution. Chill out you weird kids

Anyone who thinks that having a striker who doesn’t run channels, press, hold the ball up or run in behind has a negative impact on a teams ability for chance creation has to be a fan boy at this stage. The alternative is a level of idiocy I refuse to believe exists.

Either he accepts his situation and follows the Zlatan route... or he will end his career in a worse state of disgrace. There is no other set of options for him.

Finished as a top level regular player.

When did I say I didn't think that? I even said I can't wait until he leaves in January? See, entrenchment.

I've just changed my vote. It's a sad sight but Ronnie is well and truly finished, not only at the highest level of football but arguably football in general. This is a rut he'll never come out of.

Sad just how off it he is. Also our desperation to create for him at every opportunity is hampering us so much. Not that we create much for him in truth.

Unfortunately. I do find it hard to be angry at him though I understand people who are and have every right to be. To get anything from him we need people who can cross the ball. Our team are woeful at it.

He is absolutely finished. Thought the yellow card was a bit harsh - if I remember correctly (and I don't trust my memory given that shit-show), was Mings grabbing him as the corner kick (or was it a cross) was being sent in? If so, how is that different from when McTominay got penalized against Chelsea?

He highlights our lack of squad depth and options. He's absolutely done at the top level and we have nobody else to take his place. I'm sure the hope at the start of the season was rotation between a fit Martial and a half decent Ronaldo but neither of those things have happened.

I can't even say "goodbye and thank you" because I'm still pissed off with his selfish theatrics in the summer and this fecking manipulative shit he tries to do when he goes up to pundits on camera and tries to be their friend. He's always been about the Ronaldo Show but in exchange for that you got goals and results. He's too far up his own arse to even care that he's a problem, so I'll now just say "feck off, Ronnie."

You quite literally stated even if Ronaldo leaves we won’t create chances insinuating he’s a scapegoat and our lack of chances isn’t linked to him. Or have you forgotten what you posted 15 minutes ago?
We aren't creating chances, whether he plays or not we don't know how to chase a game and break a side down. Ronaldo isn't the reason we lost today, he's part of the problem but he's not the whole problem and we'll see that when he leaves in January and someone else gets the brunt of the shit instead.

And as I stated in my reply - we did create chances in the last 20 minutes he wasn’t on the pitch against Newcastle, against spurs and against Chelsea. And against Arsenal and Liverpool. Oddly enough we create chances and play better when he’s not on the pitch. Maybe there’s a correlation.
