Couple of errors in the first half but overall our best player, in my opinion. Love how he creates a pivot midfield during our first phase of play. He has the calmness and composure to allow us to beat the press and progress up the pitch.
He could give Luke Shaw a run for his money for best first touch in the team.

Yup same.
Another 'typical' Dalot performance for me. Solid overall, impressive technique, composure and all around play.
Didn't exactly lock down Diaz or that right side but it was complete chaos anyways.

One of the few players we have that has the technical ability to play in a top team. I think Pep would love him. Puts most of our midfielders to shame.

Shaw's is more stylish. Dalot's is probably just as effective without being as aesthetic

I thought he could be a good back up or rotation player for left back and right back. That he wouldnt be good enough to be a starter for a club that wants to win the big trophies. He actually has become a good player now. He wouldnt look out of place for a title contender.
He had a good first part of the season last year too but his second half wasnt as good. This season he has been good for most of the year. I cant think off many players who should win player of the season over him.

He was amazing today. Easily our best player. As I said in the match day thread, he’s possibly the only player in our team that possesses both the technical and athletic capabilities. Our other players either lack one or the other.
