Not my favorite player by any means but bloody immense in the air today.
 
Just imagine if AWB was the one defending the back post in this game.

Actually, we don't need to. We could just re-watch the Brighton game at the start of the 20/21 season.
 
MOTM for me. Top notch defending and some of his passing was very good as well
 
My MOTM today. Was everywhere. Saved our asses in the second half with so many defensive headers. Guarantee AWB would be nowhere close to making those headers because of his awful positioning. Glad Dalot has taken his chance this season and continuing to improve.
 
Gotta to be one the players with most minutes so far? As mentionted loads of times before, what an improvement under ETH! Wouldn't mind seeing us giving him a new contract
 
I'm not even concerned about RB anymore.
Another creative cm, wide attacker and world class striker and we'll be top 5 in the world side.
 
Always believed in him. Where are those who said he's not good at anything?
 
Particularly important that he's been performing well as we've had to flog him due to the lack of alternative.
 
Absolutely brilliant today. So many important headers won. Only concern is he is playing too much. At some point we'll have to rest him.
 
Without Antony in front of him, he didn't do much in attack. But his defending part was excellent.
 
Great game from him. I love how he's developing.

We'd have conceded about 5 with AWB playing instead of him in that match with how shit he is in the air, and how he switches off positionally when the ball goes to the back post.
 
It's amazing how much he's improved, MOTM if not for those De Gea savings in the last 10'.
 
my MOTM today. Was huge today aerially, barely gave them anything out wide either. He's turning into a very good RB.

Just needs to work on his attacking overlaps.
 
It's not something that you want to see on a regular basis but him running ahead of Shaw to cover the threat on the left was brilliant. And how many of those key aerial battles did he won today?
 
He'll be one of the most sought after RBs soon, the world is starting to notice him. We need to tie hin down to a new contract quickly, he's developing into a fantastic player. Mourinho was right about him, imo at this rate he'll eventually be world class. He's just 23 too, we could be set for a decade
 
Just shows what a bit of coaching can do. This guy is turning into a brilliant player
 
He's an absolute beast in the air. Was surprised when I saw the stats last season but it's so obvious this season.

I think he's started every game this season. Only De Gea has played more minutes. He's playing way too much football, but he's playing extremely well.

He won 4/5 headers at the back post. We drop points here if he's not there. Excellent defensive performance.
 
Superb defensive performance. Won so many vital headers from dangerous crosses.

Back post defending is one of the tough job for fullbacks and he cleared them all day long. It was very good defensive performance, even with ball he was very good.
 
Should have had an assist in the first half and was very good in the air. Still a bit positionally suspect and Benrahma caused problems but good performance overall.
