Diego Costa | Back to Atletico?

My word he's ugly.

She disagrees...

...and he's wearing a pink hat.

I'm 3 years older than him and he could pass for my dad. Oldest 26 year old ever.

Oh he's defo older than 26, although I got shouted down for suggesting that when he first signed for them.

For what it's worth I think Falcao is older than his stated age as well. He's a better looking man than Costa, but still looks older if you know what you're looking for.

And watching him all season he (Falcao) just looks and moves like a 31/32 year old physically.

Terrible place for Mexican food. I actually laughed at what I was served :)

Also a joke when it comes to bartending. For such a drinking culture, if you want an actual cocktail made correctly, good luck. You'd be lucky if your bartender even knows what's in a Manhattan. They won't have the ingredients anayway.

You're definitely going to the wrong places. I'm not from England and I don't like big cities in general (not a huge fan of New York at all) but London is very different. Even as someone belonging to a different culture, I found my cultural food tasting better in London than the actual country!

London is huge also. It is therefore unlikely every place is terrible for Mexican food. I can guarantee you it has a world class Mexican place somewhere around. I don't mind the weather either but that's everyone's preference. When it comes to food though, if you can afford everything, London has anything you need.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge. I don't really like it when people make fun of Costas age. I'm 21 right now but to some people I look like I'm 30. It really is annoying since I've always looked 6-7 years older in life it some people. As a teen I always felt I never got that teenage life everyone else had and now as a young adult I'm not getting the young adult life either. I'm in some words forced to live like an older person than I am.

Ah man, don't limit yourself to an older persons life. You'll 100% regret it when you actually are 30. I also doubt you look as old as you think people see you.

Point still stands though, don't let it stop you.

Here's a 40... er i mean 30 year old Emerson playing for Real Madrid.

Hey man, I wasn't making fun of him (I posted the pic of him with the 'hot girl' in reply to people calling him ugly).

I just genuinely think he's older than his stated age. And I think that's been done for professional reasons.

If he really is 26, and just looks older, I really, genuinely wouldn't think anything of it - he's a great athlete, he's rich, he's got his pick of women, who the feck am I to laugh at him!?

He's not from some remote, third world country, ffs.

He's not lying about his age, he's just ugly as feck.

Wasn't there an age controversy about Falcao a few years ago?

Yeah I know I wasn't saying "not to judge" in a negative way. Just pointing out that there is a possibility that he just looks older. But yeah it's also likely that isn't his true age. Happens quite a bit in sport.

LOL.
There is no way, on this planet that this guy is 30 years old.
I'm 40 and I look younger than him.

Costa has a biography out apparently, 'Art of War'. Some funny clips.

"6. He’s not a great neighbour: “On one occasion,” says an official from loan club Albacete, “they had a porn movie blaring out [in Diego’s apartment] and the poor woman came down to tell them to turn the volume down. ‘What’s the matter? Don’t you like making love?’” Costa asked."

Oops, didn't notice this was in Transfer Forum, just looked for the most recent Costa thread. My apologies.

Anyone else thinking there's more credence to this story than originally thought? Fabregas, Hazard and Matic all look short on confidence but Costa is the one who looks like he really doesn't want to be there at the moment. It seemed like a ludicrous idea at the time but now I'm not so sure. He's so lethargic.

Yeah he's been shit for a good while almost. Like he's more interested in riling oppos then he is in getting on the score sheet.

Strangely I never quite rated him highly but he's proven me wrong over a good few seasons.

I think he is one of the most stupid players(I am not talking about football inteligence) I ever saw. Probably the most stupid.

I have seen many 10 year olds who act more adult than him.

I just think he reached 32 years of age this summer, most say its the tipping point age where you leave your prime..

Been playing injured for nearly two years and I think it's caught up with him. His form for Spain suggest it's isn't just a Chelsea thing.

His Spain "form" has never been good though. I genuinely don't think he's played a single good game since he switched, regardless of club form.

I think Jose managed him really poorly. Physically and mentally. He is still a very good player. I think Atletico would take him back, but they have various options up front, so they´d be in a great position to low-ball Chelsea.

RVP in his last season with us looked sharper. That's how bad he looks now.

In the last 8 months the only teams he has scored against are:
Hull, Sunderland, West Brom, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Aston Villa and now Norwich.

Serves him right really, the only reason he switched was because he fancied a shot at the world cup despite being completely Brazillian and being raised in Brazil.

We should have scored five past game if he wasn't such a turd. He needs to go because his attitude and lack of ability is holding the team back.

Conte signed 33-34 yr old Pirlo and regularly plays 34 yr old Barzagli. Age will have no bearing on whether you sign him under Conte.

On a side note Costa to Atletico and Cavani to Chelsea I think will be nailed on if either/or happens

You would think a crazy personality like Conte would love a crazy personality like Costa and they'd do well working with one another. Worked at Atleti. Think he'll do everything to convince Diego to stay.

If not, I can't imagine Atleti paying the minimum of £40m it would take to buy him back. Unless the club itself is fed up with his antics and just wants rid ASAP.

As far as replacements go, Zlatan would be a fantastic option if we had CL football. No chance now. If Zlatan leaves then surely Cavani stays at PSG so that's off as well. I think Higuain would be by far the best we could get but his buyout clause is over £70m apparently. Lukaku won't return either.

Really, we kind of have to keep Diego. Top class strikers are too hard to pry away from clubs these days.

Think its more a club policy at chelsea, they only offer 1 year renewals past 30 as well.

could Chelsea, PSG and City just cease to exist?

they give me a cold heartless feeling even reading their news
