Gaming Destiny | Rise of Iron launch

How do you do that?

Go to the tower and see that guy who sells the guns, buy ammo from him. Buy a lot and use it during raids, missions etc. It's super handy.

@Damien what we doing? Raid? I'm not gonna be on for that long, maybe 30 mins.

I think I might leave raiding till tomorrow... I cant stay on for much longer.

I'll give weekly another go after, I'll go buy ammo and sit in that corner.

I can do the raid on Thursday. Dinner dating on weekend, white hart lane on Sunday

Lol Damien  easiest 6 coins you've ever Earnt!

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, sorry! Christ good timing or what? Sorry I went awol for a bit. Was bit surprised you were still playing but didn't expect you both to be right at the end and dealing the final blow lmao.

For those who don't know Adam and another person were doing the Weekly Heroic strike on medium difficulty. I joined, played a bit then left to do a story mission with Levo and PlayerOne. Came back to rejoin the strike and, as soon as I joined and entered the room, they had killed the boss

What's the factions everyone talks about? How do you join and what are the benefits of doing so?

 I say that's brilliant time management! I've done similar before anyway, quite a good loophole.

Oh it worked on lvl 28?
Nah we did level 26 after I saw you guys complain, to be fair I think 28 would be a stretch too far; but I think it I'm level 28 and Doing fair damage I could manage it.

Who is in charge of the red cafe clan? I tried to join ages ago but just noticed it is still pending

There are a few trophies to be had if anyone is up for it later in the week. Finish any strike without any member dying, and complete strike with clan members. So we could just do the easiest strike on earth

I would like to get in the clan as well.

Annoyed that my last 3 legendary engrams have all been bloody blues. I need some damn gear. I do have 13 strange coins so I can buy something off Xur next weekend at least...

This.

Okay so I can confirm playing the strikes with multiple people is much harder. We got our asses kicked on the weekly and didn't actually complete it after 3 tries. That said on the normal strikes we did I was racking up as many kills as the other two combined. Im 26, one was a 24 and a 22.

It's definitely easier solo.

Getting real tired of the complete RNGness of this game. Finish top in crucible three times in a row and all I get rewarded with for my troubles is a strange coin. Meanwhile Mr 0.25 k/d ratio gets an exotic rocket launcher. Just feck right off.

 It can be pretty frustrating. Unfortunately you just have to accept it is pretty much a lottery, and if you ever have a crap game at least you will get some decent kit too. I suppose it makes it fair overall for the people who aren't great at FPS type games.

Tempted now to just leave my character sitting in crucible matches while I'm at work to collect a bunch of random items

I don't mind a bit of RNGness to help out the players who aren't great at FPS games (heck I'm not exactly brilliant myself), but there has to be some sort of incentive to do well too. There should be rewards for finishing top and surpassing certain goals in a game in addition to loot being randomly redistributed.

There's a special place in hell for people like you. I was playing a Skirmish match yesterday where we were getting absolutely dicked. Turns out one of our players was just AFKing in some corner while me and this other chap were getting bukaked by three very good lvl 28s and their suros regimes. Best part is? He got an enagram and I got some useless cloak.

Oh and that's another point, matchmaking is pretty stupid. Its no fun playing three lvl 29 bladedancers with their unlimited blink strikes and suros regimes while our team is filled with lvl 8s who accidentally stumbled across the crucible while looking for the story mode.

Is it correct that if you upgrade your armour with the ascendant shards etc that you get more light from them?
