They have and they're wankers for it too. I've never bought any of it. This is a step further though since its a whole year plus of extra content, extra dlc content and then extra alpha and beta. It's not like getting maps a month early.
The game is going to have so much content that I'm hoping it's going to be a splash in the ocean and it won't bother me. It's really annoying to see though and itll only escalate further on future games.
This isn't a step further though. GTA IV content was like six months. COD and BF maps are like six months. Fifa legends will never be on ps4.
Also I think it's more down to Bungie simply saying feck you for all those years to MS.
MS could have kept them there making Halo if they liked, atleast they saw light in the end. If you think its a feck you to MS then surely you think it's a feck you to the fans on Xbox who bought their Halo games?

That makes no sense. You are still getting the same base game here. You are just not getting DLC for timed period. You do realise the DLC will come on Xbox at one stage?

We both pay the same for the same content, but then us PS4 buyers get some additional content (early) paid for by Sony (as a thank you) because we chose to buy their system. Thank you (too) Sony.
The game will come with exclusive content for the game aswel as the DLC, and when the timed period is a year + then I don't consider it part of the base game.
Hardly outrage, just disappointed in these things - whether it be Destiny, Watch Dogs, Evolve, COD or whatever else.

It's been happening for years and no fuss has been made about it. Just enjoy your Destiny and just be grateful to Bungie that it runs 1080p on the Xbox.

No idea, an extra mission/map/loot probably. The whole thing will hopefully be a drop in the ocean so it's not a big deal, similar to Watch Dogs.
I really hope this turns out to be a top game. My ps4 is just collecting dust at the moment.

Not long to wait anyway once Destiny is out then that'll keep people quite busy I'm sure, and then there's October/November where there'll be at least a few games in various genres for people to try out.
Personally I've been playing a good lot of games this release year (mostly thanks to PS Plus), way more than the PS3's opening year. I'm still working my way through Watch Dogs then I have Trine 2 and The Last of Us to play (again) by the time Destiny comes out, not sure how my wallet is gonna make it through the next two months after that though without having to make some sacrifices.
Just read people might be getting 3 beta codes with every purchase so they can entice friends.

It's just customization bonuses I think you'll have unlocked when the game starts. I can't see it being anything worthwhile.

However I won't be able to play till 10pm Thurs and Friday as I will be at work. Start at 2pm too so could play before then too.

The alpha was awesome, although felt slightly lacking in terms of weapons and gear to me, then again, that was just an alpha though so it was to be expected.
BTW codes are locked to region so all 3 of mine will be for ps4 and Europe.
