Cheers Brocky, you're a great teacher. If you could possibly do 34 with me some time before the reset that'd be fantastic. Can understand if you'd rather not/have other stuff to do.
Managed to complete my last two 34 PoE last night with random groups. One of our runs took only half an hour in total. @Damien I can always help you out at some point if you need an extra body to do it quickly.
Final boss is rather easy as long as you have a Titan and clear the adds quickly before sniping the boss. Also found there is a slight cheese for round four.
If you all head left straightaway and camp out at the back there, the two doors of adds on the far side don't spawn straightaway. Wave one you simply kill everything as usual (may have to run across and trigger the adds on the other side if they don't come find you), but make sure you have enough time to jump up on the back platform between killing the final enemy of that wave and it ticking over to wave two. Then if you do that right, only a few thralls will spawn on the door to your right near you. Kill them quickly from the platform and then the mines spawn, but the wizards and knights don't yet. Allows you to defuse the mines safely (Make sure you hug the back wall if it appears right on the otherside), then go near the doors on the opposite side to spawn the remaining enemies. Again final kill, make sure you get back to the left back platform area and repeat for the second lot of mines.

Yeah, that PoE 28 has been dropping it like it's hot. Blitz got two within 24 hours from it. Bungie have definitely upped the drop rate. Everyone will have one soon.

Dunno about being a great teacher. I just naturally end up taking point, communicating a lot and trying to get the team working as a team. It was the same when I played football. I was a CB, so it kinda came with the territory and I guess it's stuck.
Yeah, now Makki and I are 34, we'll try to get as many people up there as we can.
Two swords. It actually just feels like it did doing NM as a 32.
Also, I noticed that I finally got the Vault cloak along with the Universal Remote that completed my pre-HoW exotic collection. Two birds with one stone!

Xur is here but he's got none of the new armour. He does, however, have a helm engram along with the strange coins to motes so I've been spending all mine on them

Got The Ram (Warlock) and Eternal Warrior (Titan) from the engrams. Eternal Warrior is one ugly helm.
I managed to get The Ram as well, plus a bunch of duplicates. Was hoping for the hunter helm, but you get that. May convert some coins to motes later if I can be bothered.
Did the POE lvl 32 last night, man the last boss was harder than I expected, the almost non stop adds that spawn make it a nightmare! Doing it with 2 warlocks and a hunter probably isn't the best idea, we spent more time running away and reviving than actual shooting
Yeah it took 3 or 4 resets for me to do it last night, it wasnt until i said feck the ghorn and just icebreaker them to death was when i actually started playing decent with 2 hunters and a titan we spent most of it running from one spot to another.Did the POE lvl 32 last night, man the last boss was harder than I expected, the almost non stop adds that spawn make it a nightmare! on another note that Invective bounty comes in really handy for dumping those synts, got it and dismantled my old one.

Congrats Brocky. I've gone through about 20 helm engrams but that Celestial doofa is still eluding me. Still got a few better rolls than existing helms though so replaced them

Managed to find some people to take pity on me to do 34 as a Warlock. The other two consisted of a Hunter and a Titan. Hunter soloed the mine defusal but they chose horrible 'bases' to start in and ended up being fired upon from all angles. Didn't cheese the fourth round either and found it okay but that arc burn on hive is the invention of satan.
Hopefully I'll be able to do 34 on Titan at some point with Brocky, should be a breeze with multiple Titans, then can do most of it with my Titan again but change to Hunter just before final round to complete the set.

Ah so close to finishing it, only to have the mine kill us after taking out the boss. Still at skolas is any 34 want to join and help finish it off.
On the last round? I'm not 34 but do have an etheric light to take me to 33 and a half on my titan
what happened to the others? Did they just decide to quit? Weird with you being so close
Yeh last round. 33 may not be quite enough, as I think you really need to be 34 to deal enough damage quickly enough to bring him down in time.
Went of the do trials. It is a ten minute cool down between each shot due to cool downs. Frustrating as hell, just sitting there between goes.

Ah yeah, waiting for ammo synths and stuff. Read he can be taken down in over 40 secs with gjallarhorn shots because of the burn, but problem is there's like three different things to do? Read up on the mechanics the other day, have to pass something between the three of you etc

Try LFG? Surely must be some level 34s out there eager to join at last stagemight as well as see what its like.
It is rather simply on the whole, just timing is really tight. You basically just run and kill a servitor (solar shotgun makes this easy). That then breaks the bond and allows you to damage the boss and then everyone puts rockets into him. Once you get his health down to 50% or so (has to be inside 20 sec) the bond doesn't come back. After that point mines start spawning that you have to defuse and one person is poisoned/marked. Every 30 seconds you have to pass the mark between you. Though you can basically ignore it and just kill the boss and remove it. It is getting to that first mine if it spawns a long way away from you while ensuring you still do enough damage to kill the boss that caught us out.
Can't be bothered and it is 1am over here. Will just try again tomorrow I think.

Yeh. Most of that was with a 33 without gh. As soon as he left getting it done with 3 34 and gh became really close each time bar minor mistakes or skolas doing something weird on us. Ah well, learnt at least not to bother trying to do it with anything less than a group of 34s at least.
