Looks like he just did it once and has now gone onto doing level 32 PoE.

You only use one key - to open the big chest. As far as I can tell, though, you only get one exotic shot per week, ala raids. So doing the level 28 wipes out your chance for the week. You do get the armour cores on the level 32, as well as Queen's weapons.

Just finished my first nightfall of the week on the third attempt after those fecking exploders took us out the first time and then tankis stood over me while i was dead so the hunter couldnt revive me on the second attempt, and my reward for this was a No land beyond.
As for Poe i haven't done it today and i have to do both 28s for my titan and hunter with 11 keys to use up.

@Anustart89, Kate and I just beat PoE 34. I have to say that's by far the most intense fun I have had in Destiny and maybe in any other game, for that matter.

The obvious and somewhat safe choice would be the Crota boots. However, I have a feeling that the PoE boots will be available next week and so I'm thinking that my Iron Banner chest piece - which has scout rifle and shotgun bonuses - might be a wiser, if a little more risky, bet.

I did the PoE34 now on my Hunter, but I'm thinking I'll do the 34 on my Titan as well and get him to lvl 34 so I can attempt PoE35 during the weekend. Now I need to do the story on my warlock, PoE 28, 32 and 34, PoE 35 on Titan and then the VoG/Crota stuff if I cba.
I'm just thinking that from what we've seen, the HoW boots aren't guaranteed to give you the Heavy Weapon perk, so even if he's got them next week, they might get you to 34 but at the expense of carrying 5 Gjallarhorns instead of 7.I'm still trying to decide.

If I ever do 34 I'll probably upgrade my VoG boots (for my warlock at least). Do either of you know how much each stat increases by?
True. Actually, I'm thinking now that I might even hold off until next Tuesday. It's not like I gain anything by upgrading now. Half a level is actually zero improvement and then I get to make a more informed decision.
The intellect stat on my Titan ones would go from 113 to 131.
Can't say I know for sure, but I've read that it's supposed to scale, ie a top-tier roll on VoG gear is going to increase into a top-tier roll by HoW standards.
If you're not going to try to get that character to 34 and attempt PoE35 this week, then I suppose there's no point rushing into it now.

That was my thought as well when I got one. Still have it just sitting there. If I do manage to finish the 34 at some point and get a second. I think I'll use it on a character I didn't use to do the 34. Just to make it easier to then do it on that character.

I should be ready for then @Damien I currently got one etheric light and can't decide what to ascend atm though lol
If you're planning on giving 35 a shot, leg armour is best as if you try ToO and get five wins you get chest armour. If you're not bothered about doing 35 this week, then maybe one of your favourite weapons
my plan (when I get light) is to ascend armour first then the weaponsIf anyone wants to do 32 let me know. fresh and I are trying to two man it at the moment as we can't find a third person

yeah, last round is easy enough if you just concentrate on reducing number of adds. A few came into the area we were in but with there being 3 of us even if one died the other two had it under controlLevel 34 on my Titan
