So, I didn't realise that you two had already done the first mission...
Yeah, I'll be on for a while. Judging by that last mission, I'll probably be still trying to solo the first one, by the time you get back.
That doesn't mention that each time you pick up the sword, a gatekeeper spawns on the other side. They can only be damaged by the sword, so the carrier needs to try and take him out.
Once you get three across, they can construct the bridge in the same way, to allow the remaining three to cross. At some point, possibly after six sword drops, ogres and a wizard spawn on the other side. Take them out and you win.
We've stopped for tonight. Quite tough that bit.
To be honest, I want to get the nightfalls unlocked and on all three characters before I have another crack the raid.
I want to get the XP bonus and possibly some new weapons, it's hard going otherwise :/

The guys who got world first said you can't even kill Crota if you don't have at least 1 level 31.
Yeah, a week should be enough to crack another level. I'm going to concentrate on the getting the two warlocks vender rank up for the commendations, with that and Xur I can probably buy enough gear to get up a level.
Did you guys manage to get deep enough into the raid to get any armour drops yet? Or did you get stuck before any of the loot drops
So couldn't resist in the end and watched some raid guides while stuck at work. Looks like lots of close combat and far more close up than VOG. Nice that the first chest is so early as well.
Me and PlayerOne got through two reward drops and I think the redcafe team got one. PlayerOne got raid gloves and boots the lucky beggar. I got shards and energy. We definitely missed at least one chest though.

Caf group got one reward drop. I managed to get the loot chest though when I got lost while the others were ahead. All I got was shards and energy though on all three characters.
One of the blue engrams I got last night turned into a TDB arc rocket launcher. Does cluster bombs so should be handy, especially when I do the other two nightfalls as they'll be a bitch.

No, I think we missed that. I have a feeling there may have been a chest after the second section (the totem/bridge) bit that we missed as well.
As an aside, rather typically, after buying some vanguard hunter boots yesterday, I just ranked up with my titan and was rewarded with... hunter boots. Of all the possibilities!
We did miss a chest at that part, it's in the room where we drop down. We missed one at the start, I know where it is though, I soloed it with my hunter. I show you where it is.

They really need to move the vault to orbit. This going to the tower every time part is getting annoying.
